Just got my copy last night. Count me in.
I'm definitely getting in this. Too bad it isn't expert Oh and a quick question... Will this be for guitar only? Or is there a competition for solo drums, solo vocals, solo bass, solo guitar, and the entire band?
Sign me up please. I do like w4's suggestion about having a full band competition; though I can see hiccups if band members all have different systems. But if full bands are something we can try, me and my Wii are all in.

That would be cool if we could arrange that somehow.. I wasn't thinking a band with Goozex members... Just a band full of friends that I play with all the time. The Goozex member band is a good idea (if someone could organize that).

I'm in on this too of course. If we have a full band competition I need to find a way to play with I-Weapon-X on my team (either I get it for my PS3 or he gets a 360 lol) so I can team with him and two other people lol.

Are the songs going to be based on instruments, or do we just pick whichever instrument we want once the song list is released? And can we submit scores for all instruments, or just one? I tried looking for the summer games thread to see how they were structured, but all those threads are gone.

I'd like to do it the same as Rock Band (2 Guitar, 1 Bass, 1 Drums), but am concerned that the drums may be harder/easier based on which drumset you use (I've never played WT but heard that you can play with 4 or 5 drums). I'd appreciate any comments on how we could make everyone equal on drums.

As for making it equal for drums, I would just stick with playing with what you got since you would be used to it. Though if you really want to normalize the results, I suppose we could figure out the total note difference and just apply that multiplier to one of the types of instruments. But that sounds like a more work than necessary for something as simple and fun as the winter games.
I'm gonna be using WT drums Much more fun than RB drums
