Leaving neutral feedback just for the hell. Reason I am asking is I did my first send off the other day and was very nervous about getting it right and getting my first positive feedback. I sent it priority ( I know I didn't have to) got the tracking number checked the box and sent it off. Now today I get an email saying I got neutral feedback cause there was no booklet. I am almost positive the book was in there and I know its nowhere around here. I disputed the feedback even though I didn't really know how to go about it and what to say, seems like its pretty much my word against his. So the reason I was asking is that it seems like you have nothing to lose from leaving neutral or negative feedback while the seller has everything to lose.

I am just glad it was only a 200 point game so if I lose the points ill be disappointed but I am mainly worried about the feedback being my first one and all.

I believe you still get your points for a neutral

So it's not a huge problem

And if this is about  Harvest Moon DS, the guy you sent it to has received 353 games so its unlikely he is making it up. You must have forgotten the manual, so next time double check before mailing.

It says not earned due to negative feedback. I still havent accepted the feedback so I dont know if once I accept it ill get the points but as far as I could tell if its not positvie feedback you get no points.. which if that is the case will make me want to shy away from using the site due to the fact I could essentially be giving games away and paying for them to be shipped.

What keeps people from leaving erroneous feedback is their reputation on this site.  Before I accept to send a game I always look at the other person's feedback.  If he has a high number of neutral and negative feedbacks I will look into it further, pming him, or not accept the trade.  If enough people do this, he won't receive any more games.

As a trader, you control who you send your games to.

How does leaving neutral or negative feedback on a seller hurt the buyers reputation?

People think twice about sending them games when there is a match.  They might just let the match time out because of the fear that the user is "difficult".
