im a new user here, only visited a few times. but ive been a member for months now and in early july i decided to spend the 100 points i had and chose a game. the game was Dragon Throne for the pc. well it never arrived. the username was (edited out). i came to the forums for advice and was told to wait until day 19 (i think it was already 17) and then leave negative feedback. i must admit the guy did reply to my messages and seemed a nice guy/girl who said the game had been sent. well if it was it still never arrived.

so i got my points refunded.

i immediately got matched for SimGolf for the PC in seconds.

well now that was 2 weeks ago....if this game doesnt arrive and i leave negative feedback again, it not only makes the sender look bad but also me...who is going to want to send me a game after giving two neg feedbacks?

im not sure i like this system....before getting matched id like to talk to the sender first. id would want confirmation numbers for the deliveries. i dont fully understand the system but im suspecting that people are getting matched and not sending out games in the hopes that after 20 days they automatically get good feedback.

i was kinda suspicious when i was first showed the site but i signed up anyway and got a free 100 points. im 33 and work hard for my money, i couldnt imagine how angry id be if i had actually paid for the 100 points.

ive messages the current sender but got no reply...anyway if i dont recieve this game then ill not be a member here very long, i suspect.

Please remove the user's name from the OP. It is against the rules.

Now to your problem, you actually should leave feedback on the 20th day as opposed to the 19th day. They receive positive system feedback on the 21st day. Secondly, please be patient with Goozex. As you develop a larger history, those 2 negs won't even matter.

And either way, it's a free game :)

That is very unfortunate, but it seems that there is always a spate of those who seek to cheat any system. And you got unlucky right up front - I have only had two or three non-sends in my entire two year history, and they came during the midst of a promotion.  My advice is to stick with it and things will work out.

well theres still a few days left the game could show up but ive lost all faith in this site. i just wanted to spend the lousy 100 points i had and so far its taken all summer and i still have no game.

and the fact that the system protects those who do not send out games by not allowing us to post their names just reinforces my belief that this site knows their system is extremely faulty. they care more about having users on their site than having GOOD users on their site. i cannot see one reason why we cant post their usernames...just adds more fish to an already fishy situation.

By posting someones user name in the forums because you have not recieved a game from them yet is unfairly calling them out.  The game could be in the mail but you havent got it yet, it could be lost in the mail, or your mailing address could be incorrect.  If I was the person that sent you the game and you posted my user name in the forums accusing me of being a scammer I would not be impressed. 

It is true that some people are deadbeats and some are scammers but posting their names in the forums will not get anything done about them.  Sending an e-mail to goozex will do something about it so if you are having problems with games not being sent to you you can contact them with all of the information including the persons user name.

All that being said I was very skeptical of this site when I first joined it however I realized I had nothing to lose as I had a free trade credit and to get more is only $1 each.  Also when you send games out you get a way better value than trading your games in to places like gamestop.

I have sent out 7 games now (3 still in the mail) and recieved 4 without a problem so I can say that not everyone is a scammer and when someone tries to scam the system it is not the user that is hurt by it because the user gets their points back.

I would suggest not giving up on this site just yet as most users here are honest and if you play lots of games you will save hundreds of dollars using this site.

I started with this site earlier this year and I just want to say in just about 40 requests I have only had an issue receiving 2 games. The good thing is that you get your points back if they do not send them. Yes, it is very hard to cope with the emotions of wanting a game badly and then being denied but at least this way you can request it or a different game.

i finally got a reply...

so what do i do? its like day 16 right now and surely the game will not get here until after the 20th day. certainly im not going to wait until after he gets automatic good feedback from the system to find he didnt even send it. so do i message him back and say forget it and just leave 'did not send' feedback?

What you can do is if you do not receive the game on the 20th day leave negative feedback and state in the comment that once you receive the game you will contact feedback @ goozex.com *without the spaces* and have the feedback changed.

with all due respect, try being matched for a 1000 point game, waiting 20 days with no game or response, than the next day after getting the points back, you get matched to a person who promises to send another 1000 point game  but then they get banned or cancel thier account.

NOW that will make over 45 days of WASTED TIME and points!

EDIT: GOOZEX solved my issue, bravo!

unfortunately, i had to leave negative feedback again...i got that one reply i posted above but i messaged again to see if he actually got the game out as he said he would but got no response.
