I'm still angry at EA for not producing Madden NFL 09 for GameCube this year. Come on, Madden 08 was a great game and 07 was OK too. But not 09 this year, man i'll buy another console to play Madden. Seriously though, EA sports should release another Madden game (Madden 10 anyone?) for GC.  Before you know it, Madden 08 will soon get outdated.

Why would they even consider developing a game for a console from last generation?

Uh, Madden 08 is already outdated!

You really cant expect developers to continue to make games for outdated consoles can you?

Then get a ps3 or a 360 or submit a bid to buy EA so you can force them to release titles on dead consoles.

Xbox was released 1 year after GC was so that means that there won't be a Madden 10 for Xbox according to what happened to GC and no Madden 09

Im actually shocked there is even a Xbox Madden 09, considering the last Xbox game released was Madden 08.

Do a manual roster update for the last GC Madden anmd your done. Thats all you would be getting in a Madden 09 for the Gc anyway if EA was actually stupid enough do put one out.

Get into the spooky world of next-gen consoles...especially if you are playing sports games like madden because your not getting the full experience if you aren't getting the HD graphics. Save those pennies and get yourself a 360.

As far as i know, Madden 08 was the last game released for the gamecube. The Gamecube is well past dead on the new games front. It's user base is shrinking and the Wii Madden games were much better than the Gamecube games.

I hope you're joking.  I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't get Madden 10 for my XBOX.

OP, you can be pissed no longer.  EA may be skipping Madden 09 for the GameCube, but hold on tight for Madden 10 for the GameCube.  It is supposed to be super good, and they just released the rosters for it this morning.  Have no fear, as you just have to sit out one year.  EA coming through once again.  A better than ever Madden just one year away.  Don't know if the other consoles will even get Madden 10, so hang on to that GameCube.
