Any PS3 users interested in getting together for a night of Battlefield: Bad Company this Saturday night?
Im curioius Cat, what made you chose the PS3 version over the 360 version?
I don't have my 360 online, therefore anything I want to play online I have to buy for the PS3.

Curiosity killed the Cat. I signed up because the idea for Goozlympics began about the same time GTA IV came out. I was excited that I had gotten the game and was eager to get online with it. And I did. GTA IV night for PS3 being at the end of the month of June is what shot me in the foot. I realize that most games offered up on Goozex for online play are for the 360, however I am just working with what I got. At one time I had all the major multiplayer games for the PS3, Resistance, UT3, The Orange Box, COD4, Warhawk but all of them were traded early on in my Goozexing and before I was active in the forums. Now that my family is living off one income, I can't just go out and buy any game I want like I used to. Probably my only regret, but the trade off of being home for my kids is far more important.
Online on 360 is really great to have (especially with GOW 2 coming out!!)...and if you can't shell out the 50 or so a year it costs to play online just do what I do...get it as a christmas present:)

I wasnt picking on you or anything I was just asking, no biggie!
I'd be able to get the fee for the annual subscription, my problem is getting the adapter. My modem is too far away for a wired connection and to buy the wireless adapter then get the annual subscription now we are no longer talking $50, now we're at $150. I'm sure I will get online eventually, but I'm just being patient. As stated before, I live off one income and I don't want to pressure my wife for more gaming things. She is very generous in letting me get the games I really want, most recently getting me Battlefield: Bad Company, I don't want to press my luck.
PSWii60 Elite: I appologise for my ignorance in asking the question, as if the PS3 wasnt online. WTF was I thinking. I wasnt picking on you or anything I was just asking, no biggie!

Don't sweat it! I really want to get online with the Goozex community, I feel like I missing out on a lot. I'm not the worlds greatest player by any means, but I may give Cheez a run for his money for LVP.

Wow,sounds like we're on the same boat.I too am on one income supporting the family, which is why i'm extremely greatful for this site.I prefer to buy PS3 versions of games because I have that system hooked up to the big screen, but everyone usually gets there online fix on the 360.Be sure to mark this game in your playing now list if you haven't already.I'd be happy to join you online if I recieve this game soon.

Stay at home dad's unite! I know Mafafu is a stay at home dad as well. I have it on my playing now list. I seen your scores a few times on the demo Spark, you were up there a bit. It would be fun to get online with you on this game. Let me know if you get it, we'll tear some buildings apart!
I call chopper! As for the demo online, you should see the difference between the PS3 and 360,especially at night.PS3's like a ghost town.Pretty fun though to go in and sabotage all the enemy vehicles when waiting for someone to spawn in.

You do the flying, I'll do the shooting. I can't use those damn helicopters, every time I try, I kill myself. You sound like you like the specialist class too, thats my favorite, although I did get quite good with support on my last run with the game. I was crouched behind one of our tanks drilling it to keep it healed while the other team got hammered again and again. It was a lot of fun. They were blasting it over and over and I just kept the drill on it. I did that for the last 4 gold crates.
The night I got it I played from 9pm-2am and the only time the attackers won was on the Oasis map, lol. On the demo some of the matched I had went up to 40 minutes. So far all the games outside of the Oasis map were over in less than 10 with Defenders dominating.
