im new to this site and im about to send my first game..i just wanted to know which was the better way to send it..and how much it would cost with usps?
I think the majority of people send first-class with delivery confirmation within in the United States and via First-Class International when sending to Canada.
Check out my travel blog (I'm in New Zealand currently) - www.lakerr.com
Regular first class mail (USPO) is fine. Delivery confirmation is optional. No buyer needs to get their game overnight.
thanks..i have another question, does the envelope HAVE to be a bubble envelope?
I am not trying to be rude, but to make sure there is no confusion USPS stands for United States Postal Service and is the same as regular mail. UPS is United Parcel Service (brown trucks) and is too expensive. Go with the Post Office.
ramsballer:thanks..i have another question, does the envelope HAVE to be a bubble envelope?
It doesn't have to be. But prepare to get +5 feedback instead of +10 as the postal workers do not handle games nicely amd stuff that isn't in bubble mailers will often get really beaten up in transit
You could also try doing what most other users do as well; reuse the bubble mailers you get from games you've requested (once you start recieving games that is). It'll save you a little money.
And although delivery confirmation is optional, make sure to get it. It prevents some headaches down the line. And yea, just go with first class mail + delivery confirmation. I think that ends up being 2.50 to 3:50 something. Have fun trading. ^__^

Currently, I'm overseas at an Army base, so my only option is USPS. Makes things simple, that's for sure!
Anyways, I sent my first game today: Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year Edition for PS3. The bubble mailer cost $1.50 and the priority shipping and delivery confirmation cost $2.60.
$4.10 is not bad to ship, in my opinion.

Do you have options to buy them in bulk ... even 5-packs? That helps drive the cost down even further.

Actually, after going back to get another bubble mailer, I noticed the price was only $0.45!
It was only more because I got a Twix, haha. So that makes the total price for shipping $3.05.
