*sighs* This warrants a bit of explanation...
So last year I joined GameTZ and started trading stuff. Most everything was fine, except for one particular user who screwed me so badly by sending me a game I didn't want, and in poor condition, that the admins sided with me. The guy got so many bad trader reports in such a short time, he was kicked off the site at the end of 2007.
And I just got a game request from him. Here.
There is no way in hell that I'll send him a game. I don't care if the game is worth 1600 points, I'd rather send it to someone with thirty negatives than his scamming ass.
Is there a way to keep him from requesting games from me? I'd rather not deal with him again, ever. :(
The Streets: I am from them.
You cannot block people. If you do not want to send him anything, do not accept the trade. I believe that when you are matched as a seller you are given the chance to review the person you are sending the game to prior to accepting the trade.
Mezzy:Pretty sure the measure here is to just deny any matches from him. Sure, it takes a little bit of time, but we're not about super fast trading here on Goozex. We prefer a little bit of patience, which allows the system to work.
*rejects trade*
I don't like having to wait three days for it to pop up again, oh well. I -hope- he doesn't come up again, as I have no interest in dealing with him ever again.

If this guy is indeed a scammer, please email help at goozex dot com, with a cc to feedback at goozex dot com, and detail your experiences with this user. Definitely provide any links to forum threads over at GameTZ that are regarding this incident, and include as much information as possible (correspondences you had with admin over at GameTZ, an admin over there that would be familiar with this incident who Goozex could contact, etc).
I think any opportunity to nip a scammer in the bud must be investigated. I know the Goozex Team is a small staff and while they have ways of catching people who are scamming Goozex they appreciate any kind of input from us users that aid them in finding these folks - especially before they've had an opportunity to do much damage.
I don't blame you for rejecting the trade with this individual. Thankfully we have that option available to us.

The thing is, he scammed me there, but he seems legit here (two neutrals and two negs). I'm not sure what to do in this case.
