On 03/11/08 I was matched for .hack//INFECTION (Part 1).  The seller said they would ship within 3 days so it should have shipped on 03/14/08.

I never received the game and got an "Open Trade Reminder" on 03/27/08 so I sent the seller a PM asking how they shipped and if they had a DC number.  I wasn't expecting a reply but the next day I got this.

I shipped it USPS, so I don't have a tracking number. It's probably lost in the mail, so I'll buy a copy and send it to you. I think I'll send it UPS or FedEx this time.

I was thinking of asking for a tracking number and if I get one let the system close the trade.

I kind of feel bad for him having to buy another copy.

On a side note, am I correct in assuming that the full version for the .hack games should include the anime dvd?

Leave negative feedback the day before the trade will time out, just incase it does time out.  PM the person who shipped the game and let them know you haven't received it yet and thank them for sending another copy (if you haven't already).  Let them know that when you receive the copy they just sent you will request Goozex change the feedback (email feedback @ goozex.com and help @ goozex.com    no spaces).  If you receive it and everything is acceptable you can have the feedback changed to +10 or +5 and the shipper will get the points.

Even if he is "sending a replacement" you should leave negative feedback. Once you recieve something then e-mail goozex and they can fix the feedback.

I am not familiar with the .hack games, but full package includes everything that came with the game at retail. (Cardboard box, any extra CD with contents, ect.)

The .HACK games (at least, the original series) all came with anime DVD's as part of the basic game package. I would say it's OK to leave them out if it's listed as disc only or disc/manual, though I would suggest PMing that info to a buyer before confirming the Trade. A Full Package should include the DVD, the FP description does require "everything it came with". The anime episodes are not needed to do anything important in the games, but they do contain info that unlocks optional instanced areas in the games.

Thanks.  I wasn't sure if the DVD was part of a first printing of the game and as such, there would be full copies that didn't come with the DVD.

And, as expected, I never got the game and never heard from the seller again.

If you never got it, leave negative Feedback to that effect and you'll get your points back. If it's too late, email the goozex guys and explain what happened.

Oh I already left negative a day before the system was going to close the trade.

Personally, I would have it changed to +10 and a tip if he follows through. He could just eat the negative and move on, but he's actually buying a new game to replace the lost one, shows real class on his part.

I would have/will... but it's been a month and nothing, so I don't think he's going to make good on the offer.

I've gotten two or three copies of this game off goozex and all have included the anime dvd.

Same sort of situation here.  I never got my copy of Resident Evil 3, so the trader got me one from Amazon.  I have a day left until the trade closes, should I pm and let them know I'm leaving negative feedback and once I get the game I should just email Goozex and get the feedback removed.

What do you do if someone sent the game to you, the tracking was confirmed via the USPS tracking number, but you never received the game.

I think someone stole it, the mail man (idiot) in the past has left packages outside my gate instead of inside my mail box.

It's not the senders fault, but I still don't have any games. I'm hope I'm not out 2 trade credits and 700 points.

Also curious about this.  The FAQ says "Should a game get lost in the mail or be broken during shipping, Goozex will refund you the points and trade credits you have spent..." but what about the seller (especially if s/he actually got a tracking/confirmation number)?

Also, if the game was shipped but broken in transit (to no fault of either side), what happens then?  Will both the seller and buyer receive the game's point value credited and the buyer get their trade point back?

I have been wondering the exact same thing, but luckily for me, I have never had a bad enough stroke of luck to find out. Anyone else might know the answer please fill us in...

Funny that this is on a 10 month old post.
