Use of Goozex Logo, Mascot and Tag Line
The
Goozex name, the Goozex logo, the Goozex mascot and the Goozex tagline are
trademarks, registered trademarks or copyrights of Goozex, Inc. Any
work that is a derivative of the Goozex logo, the Goozex mascot or any
variation thereof is to be considered intellectual property of Goozex,
Inc.
Goozex, Inc. reserves all rights to use,
not use, print, advertise, post online, or publish in any form and
media any image that is a derivative work of the Goozex logo or the
Goozex mascot, and any image that is submitted to Goozex or posted on the
Goozex forums. Goozex owns and reserves the right to use or not use any
representation of our trademarked or copyrighted material.
In
posting an image on the forums or in submitting an image to Goozex, the
author understands, acknowledges and accepts to grant Goozex all rights
on any image. Goozex may mention the author of an image or derivative work, but it is under no obligation to do so.
Participation to contests
To be eligible users must sign up on Goozex.com, activate an account,
and actively participate in the Goozex forums. Limit one prize per
household. Multiple accounts, not confirmed accounts, fake emails, or
incomplete or incorrect home addresses disqualify users from Goozex
forum promotions. Winners must have a valid United States, Canadian or
Bermudian mailing address on file with Goozex at the time of entry in
the contest. Winners may not redeem any prize for cash, Goozex points
or trade credits. Goozex will mail out the prizes to the addresses
provided upon registration. Winners will be notified by email and may
be publicly announced on the Goozex forum posts.
Submission of images
Members
can submit an image in either Jpeg, gif, png, psd or bmp format.
Minimum size should be 300 x 300 pixels. There is no maximum size,
however the file size should be smaller than 600 Kilobytes. Image
format can be RGB or CMYK, in black and white or color.
Images can be submitted to enter the contest
by posting the image on the forum, or by sending the image via email to
marketing AT goozex com.
By submitting an image for a contest members understand and accept that they will be
automatically entered into the specific contest, and that any image submitted
will become immediate property of Goozex. The image may be subject to Goozex approval. The author accepts to
transfer all rights to Goozex, Inc.
Submission approval process
Each submission in subject to approval by Goozex. All
decisions are final. Goozex reserves the right to delete your submission from
the forum or deny your participation to the contest for any violation of the Official
Photoshop Contest Rules, for any attempt to perform malicious actvitity, for
copyright infringement, or for no reason at all.
The Goozex team will have an approval review of each entry
before approving submission. The approval review will take place within 5 business days from the
submission date as reported on the forum. Entries are automatically approved
after 5 business days unless deleted by Goozex or the author has been informed
of the contrary via email.
Voting process
All voting procedures will be conducted on the Goozex forum,
using the “poll” feature. All votes cast on the forum poll will be valid for
the purpose of determining the finalists and the winner. No vote will be
accepted outside the forum polls, nor any duplicate vote. Votes cast from
double or fake accounts will be considered null. Repeated votes from double or
fake accounts associated to the author of an entry will disqualify the entry.
Pre-selection of finalists
Goozex will allow all registered members with an account in good standing to vote for the finalists. Only one vote per member. The winner will be the image
that receives more votes from members. The odds of winning depend on
the number of entries, the total number of votes, and the number of votes cast in your favor. In
case of draw between two or more finalists, Goozex will pick the winner
at its sole discretion. All decisions are final.
Winners poll
All
finalist images will be entered into a poll where members can vote
their favorite. Only one vote per member. The winner will be the image
that receives more votes from members. The odds of winning depend on
the number of entries, the total number of votes, and the number of votes cast in your favor. In
case of draw between two or more finalists, Goozex will pick the winner
at its sole discretion. All decisions are final.
Goozex may elect to select additional winners
at its own discretion, for secondary prizes selected by Goozex, or no
prize at all.
Miscellaneous
By entering this contest, members agree that Goozex,
Inc., may use their name, nickname, likeness, and website for promotional
purposes without incurring any liability or obligation for remuneration. All
registered Goozex users must be 18 years or older. Prizes won by minors will be
awarded to their parents or legal guardians. Goozex, Inc., is not responsible
for damaged prizes, damages or expenses that the winners might incur as a
result of the contest or the receipt of the prize, and winners are responsible
for income taxes based on the value of the prize received. No purchase
necessary. All federal, state, province and local laws and regulations apply.
