I was thinking about this last night. Everyone has a podcast of some kind. Why not as gamers take advantage of the technology that we have in front of us. Instead of doing the normal everyday podcasts, why not be a little more creative and make them Goozcasts out of games. Similar to those Halo Red vs Blue videos. Like an in game interview with Goozex members.
Say you start a private match in a game like COD4 or Halo3 and do the interviews in-game and put them up as youtube videos. Just a thought.

Interesting idea.

that can easily be done using WoW.
just look at the south park episode. sure some animation was done but the game is there and all you do is walk to a different location for a change of setting.

I think it would be awesome, puts a gamers spin on the typical podcast.

Yeah, the problem is getting a 360 feed mixed in with the audio feed. You could use Skype and the video from the 360, but you'd also need to get the audio from the 360.
I could do it via our 360 that feeds to the computer monitor, but it's still a massive undertaking.
It doesnt have to have in-game audio. All you need is the picture and then can even get the audio over the phone. A game like Rainbow Six Vegas would be cool since you can put your own face on a character and there mouths move when you talk.
Where are all these guys with the A/V badges?
SO not cool, suggesting this after I already had my Goozcast done. I'd be game for an in-game UT3 interview, heh. Actually, now that I actually have the game, I need to get online and blats away some Goozex buddies.

Hello!
I actually conducted an interview over Xbox Live once, and to be honest...it was a nightmare. It was easy enough to record the other guy's voice through my capture card and the TV's speakers, but since my own voice didn't go through the speakers I had to record it separately. I then had to match up the two audio tracks, which took several hours. And that's before I even edited the video...
One way that this would work, however, would be if the interviewer wasn't the guy recording. If you had one person recording, while the interviewer and interviewee talked in real time, that would work fine.
Now, if this actually becomes a reality I'd be 100% up for filming it...
I'd be interested in watching these if they ever do come to light.
Would the interview just be a general one or specifically related to the game that is being played?
