HOW TO POST ON THE FORUMS
(hint -- it's not OMG NEED HELP NOW!!!!!!)
We know that the forums is a great place to come for help and we have awesome members/mods who volunteer their Goozex time and knowledge. Occasionally a member who is seeking help will post the dreaded flame title in ALL CAPS and violates good forum etiquette.
NEW RULES WHEN POSTING HELP QUESTIONS
1. Do not post a flaming/troll title! Your post will get deleted and you will be asked to try again. In fact, you are probably reading this because you have been directed to this thread to get advice on how to post your help question.
2. Avoid the wall of text. Keep your help question quick, simple and to the point. Here are a few examples of great help questions:
Ex. Hello, I need help on reversing a negative feedback. How do I do that?
Ex. Hi there, was looking to figure out what full package of Guitar Hero means. Thanks in advance for your help!
Ex. Newbie here, wanted to figure out what I need to do to mail my game to someone in Canada. Thanks!
3. Avoid calling other members out and sharing private info. We are a friendly site and if you start calling other members out or share their private info (address, name, etc) your post will be deleted. You can avoid all this by simply saying "another member."
4. Use spell/grammar checker. No worries if you're just a bad speller -- but please make an effort to use proper English grammar and spelling. Typing "OMG dis wuz not supppoozed to happen to me trde" is painful to read. Try this instead -- "My trade went bad -- here are some details"
5. Do not be rude. Mods are volunteering their time to help you. Other members are doing it because they have the Luke Skywalker in them. Be good to them and enjoy the forums!
