Thoughts?

Is saving 2-5 seconds per search useful to you?  Does the average user google that many terms each day to find real time savings?

Right now, it's kind of a distraction to me, and will be something I have to get used to.  I think after I adapt, it probably won't affect my searching at all, other than to show me I need to add a few more key words to find what I really want.

I like it but I want shortcut keys. So i can see the 3rd result and not use my mouse to click it.

Also no porn keywords are working

I just tried it and its totally is worth for me. Its the same thing as type ahead functionality but instead it is with the whole page.

Eh, it's a little too laggy for me. By the time the results show up I've already typed in the search terms and hit enter. I suppose it might be more helpful if I don't know exactly what I'm searching for. I'll have to try it again when I really need to search for something (instead of using the mozilla search box

I haven't used google since I started using swagbucks to get points for searching.  Google doesn't let me get free games and stuff by searching, so bah to them.

I started using bing after someone on ebay told me about it saving me money. I got $25 the first time I used it sent to my paypal account (2 months later but still free money) and haven't tried google since. Too bad they just stopped the cash back program

I hit up their clothing section and game section usually once a month.  Since I'm on the computer at work 75% of the time ordering parts, etc, I use it to do searches.  Good way to get points :D   I even use the toolbar now, and any site I go to, goozex, somethingawful, etc,  I type the name in the toolbar search and get points that way too.  It's win/win.

I looked it up and it seems pretty cool. I'm going to sign up but i haven't yet becuase I'm not in a hurry and i figured i'd wait until you could give me your swagcode so i can say you reffered me since I did hear about it from you.

You can go ahead and sign up.  I don't really get into the referral thing, especially after the whole lockerz fiasco, I just hate the system for any site to trick people in, and I know people feel the same way.  Just abuse the awesomeness of swagbucks :D

On topic, I just tried out this Instant addition after not fully understanding what it had added (I've been using the Mozilla Google Start Page, which doesn't offer Instant) and I quite like the feature.  Pretty prompt here at work with the constant updating of links as I continue typing.  Being able to omit/add a single word in a search string and see the difference in results is nice too.

It's fun for a good laugh, such as typing in "I want to".  One of the first suggestions?  "I want to die".  Thanks for advocating suicide google. :D

I downloaded the toolbar and i'm trying swagbucks out in firefox. The search has waaaay too many sponsered results for my liking or what's more is they look the same so it's hard to distiungish them from real results. But iguess thats how they make their money. I'll keep it and try it for awhile. How do you get enough points to buy stuff seems like it'd take forever and what have you gotten off there?

"Neat"?!  It's going to revolutionize internet searching!  I don't think you're getting exactly what this does.
