It's possible, I guess, the delivery confirmation is screwy and it hasn't been delivered yet .... or that someone at his house grabbed the package and didn't say .... however, if after a few days this isn't the case ... now what?

If the buyer gives you a negative, dispute it. DC is proof so you're covered.
