Looking for a new external HD. Must be a good one.
I have a few WD external HDDs that have worked wonderfully. One is a 350GB (I think), the other is a portable 120GB. Absolutely no complaints.

That's kind of what stumped me. 3 years is the most common. I only had a 5 year warranty once with any drive, that being a Raptor drive.
Throwing the USB3 requirement on there really sunk the rest of the options that came to mind, and NEEDING 2TB doesn't broaden the spectrum any...lol.

i don't think BB does extended warranties on hard drives, but Geek Squad will come to your house and install it for you.
