Just posted lastnight, it shows and talks about gameplay from the new wager matches.

Looks sweeeeet, but I'm kind of getting tired of the COD's.
Is it me or do the constant heli strikes/artillery strikes/jet strikes etc... making this game horrible
Gary Johnson For President 2012!
I'm happy that they're adding bots.
Looks awesome, I just hope I can play those Wager modes casually as well, since I bet most players will be hardcore players or campers in order to be in the top 3 in those matches. Seems it might get to the point were the rich will get richer, and the poor will just get angry and hate playing CoD altogether.

1 in the chamber looks freaking sweet
This is definitely on my list of shooters to potentially pick up. I just need to narrow it down to one.

Go for it Cheez, I am getting a little tempted on picking this one up also. Damn you MP videos... -_-

+1
I swore MW2 would be the last CoD i'd buy, but this looks tempting. I fear I may crack the more they reveal on Black Ops.

I have never been disappointed playing a COD game. You just need to go in knowing it won't be the next new thing. I like the added modes and features, but there is only so much you can do on that engine and it looks almost tapped.
I usually play the single player first, jump into Spec Ops or zombies whatever they have, then get my MP time in. I just find the MP to be the weakest link in the game. I know I am not in the majority on that one, but that is fine. To each his own. Go in expecting what you will and take it for what it is. Not the best thing ever and not the worst. A very comfortable and easy shooter to jump into at any time.
Killzone 3 is what I will be getting my MP fix on when it launches so COD will get a good 4 months out of me.
Woah. Gun game as an official mode in a game. It was liek my favorite thing to do in CS 1.6
We'll see. as long as it isn't plagued by hackers, I'll probably get it

Ehhhhhh. We'll see. Though it looks like Black Ops won't have a public beta:

The lack of pubic beta is part of the reason MW2 is as glitchy as it is and still being patched against exploits. This does not instill confidence.
The most I can hope for is that Treyarch at least doesn't throw in everything and the kitchen sink the way IW did with MW2. I'd like Black Ops to bear some resemblance to a balanced competitive shooter, meaning:

Bye Bye nukes and things like sentrys and care packages now require more kills
