I didn't read all the posts, because I am lazy and tired.
But a year of gold (starting in November) is approx. $5 a month, amIrite? Whereas right now it's like... $4 something. So it's only really going up like, .75 a month for those of you who buy your subscription in increments of 1 year.
It's the month-to-month crowd that's really suffering. And I'm guessing a large proportion of XBLers buy in 3 month increments, because that's the price that shot up the most. They are capitalizing!
But when isn't Microsoft doing something like this? Come on guys, you can't say you're the least bit surprised...
Side note: Kinect looks kinda lame TBH. Why not get a Wii if that's the kind of gaming you're after? IDGI!
I'd seen that clip all over the internet for years now. Then a couple weeks ago I was watching "It's Me or the Dog" on Animal Planet and I'm thinking "that dog looks familiar." Then BAM there are the cupcakes (sans Vietnam flashes). I was really excited.
The difference between sony and microsoft is that sony does things to make a profit to stay in buisness, very understandable they must do this to stay in buisness. Microsoft does things out of pure greed they made so much money off of xbox live, the other Day they were bragging about how much money they made last year off of xbox live memberships, They made more profit off of live memberships last year than ever before, so what do they do? raise it another $10.00 out of pure Greed!!!!! They do not pay for their bandwith cost for xbox live, we pay for it!!!!! with the money we give them we are paying for our own internet connection and paying for their internet as well with the xbox live membership we pay for, they laugh all the way to the Bank because they know we are paying their bills for them!!!!!
