Of course it does.

Say you're first in line but you don't have Canada opened up for trading.  A Canadian trader puts x game up for trade.  That game will go to the first person that has their regions opened and you will sit until an American trader gets ready to send.  There's no gaurantee

Here's my testimony:

So I was about 45th in line for Red Dead Redemption for PS3.  I had my just opened my trading regions to include Canada and decided to drop my request from Full Package to Disc Only.  Still had 4 Disc Only requests ahead of me.

...then 2 days later I matched for RDR DO.  Turns out the other 4 people ahead of me in line for DO didn't trade with Canada.  The icing on the cake?  The trader sent me Full Package.

True story.

Also, shipping to Canada runs a little cheaper than shipping to the US with DC.  It requires you to make a trip down to the post office and fill out a customs form (which takes a minute), but Canadians are awesome people with awesome beer and they deserve it.

It can get the ball rolling, but if its not moving in the US it's only going to move slightly faster in Canada. It's not worth the loss of tracking and putting up with the horrible postal system they have up there.

It might take longer but I've never had a package lost going to or from the Great White North.

I've never had any problem trading with Canada at all either in almost 12 years of online trading, also beer is a drink only for those too week to drink whiskey, or a refreshing beverage for pizza or hotwings. Devil

The custom form/number is also the DC as far as Goozex is concerned.

Some people are negative nancys about everything.   I've never had a package lost to Canada either, and always keep the customs number slip just in case.

Anybody care to list the cost difference? It seems like it should cost more but if it's about the same I see no reason to not open up my options some. I loves me some Canadians!

Sending a standard-sized console game in a bubble mailer to Canada via USPS costs between $2 -3. This is actually less than what it costs to send the same-sized package from Canada to the US.

Disadvantages are that it takes longer for the package to arrive (must be that "horrible" Canadian postal service) and there's no DC available. I've sent numerous games to the US over the years and none of them have gone missing; still, keep the customs form just to be on the safe side.

I presume, not having any hard figures, that adding the US to your trading regions (if Canadian) is almost mandatory for this site, while adding Canada would be a small boost to US traders.  Can't be any harm in it, I just avoid it since I do 100% of my shipping while at work, and cannot prepare packages properly for Canada bound shipments.

Otherwise, I'd be on that quicker than a moose on....hockey?
