sorry i haven't been on since i posted, drama with the wifey.... i'll be sure to accept ur friend request, but i dont know when i'll be able to play again, i'm so in the dog house right now....
I kinda see your friend's point, especially if it's a person who isn't a game expert. How many sports game are released every year? 20? And what are the differences?
It just bugs me when I go to a game store and half of the games are football. Even CoD isn't that bad.
I bought madden on release because all my friends were getting it and an online franchise seemed fun. I also bought NCAA football because the demo seemed better to me. Madden was a big waste, my friends still play but it was horrible. Very happy with NCAA though, and wish I would have just went with my gut and only bought it instyead of both. I will no longer fold to peer pressure.

I'm sure airing her dirty laundry will get you out.
I never buy sports games as a rule. Especially since the value goes down drastically after the newest release, like 08 turns from $50 to $15 after 09 comes out.
The pawn shop here sells previous year sports for $5 or less depending on if its 1 or several years old. I don't play sports games though.
The lag on the punting/kicking is about to make me trade my copy out. I'll just get NBA Live 11 and be happy with that....
