What? This is insane to me. I live on the west coast (Vegas) and there's tons of sonics. And I'll let you in on a secret........THEY SUCK! The food is really shitty and very overpriced. If you ever get the chance try in and out. THAT's a burger.

The problem, at least both in my home state of NY and here in CT as well, is that there are tons of Sonic commercials, but no Sonics within a few hundred miles (growing up the nearest one was in Ohio I believe).  Once one lands, everyone loses their mind with cherry limeaid glee...that glorious beverage they've heard so much about.

Hell, during 'Sonic Day' the news visited on multiple occasions.  CT isn't that large of a state, but people were coming from all corners to visit it [Sonic].

I've been doing the Castlevania DS games lately.  Really, that's what platformers should be.  Exploration, skills and techniques are required to get through, not boxes or dumb puzzles.

But yeah, the "push the box onto the button" just destroyed Prince of Persia for me.  Also, Wild Arms...3 I think it was.  Meh, who am I kidding.  Most games.  It's just such a stupid mechanic.  I mean, could they not spend 30 seconds to generate a rope and a lever?  I mean, I would be all "Whoh! That's new! Tie the rope to wall switch! Brilliant!"  I know it's essentially the same thing, but it's like they just dont care.  LETS PUT EXPLODING BARRELS!! I mean, come on :P  It's getting old.  I'm not asking for a revolution in video games. I just want a little variety.  Barrels that leak toxic gas into the room (when shot) and kill everyone, including yourself.  I mean, its not that hard people!

I swear that Sonic has gone downhill in the last year or two.  I used to eat there almost every week, but now it's actually repulsive food.  The service was always good, but man, that food has just bottomed out.

Now that I've calmed down, I remember that we have Sheetz's everywhere around here.  Their food more then makes up for lack of a Sonic.

Wawa > Sheetz

I've been to the west coast 3 times now and still have not gotten to try In and Out.  My wife has tried it and loves it.  So jealous!

Really? I'm not a fan of In and Out, but they are suppose to have the healthier fast food. Remember if it's your first time to an In and Out and you have a few friends, be sure to order the 20 x 20. Just a huge stack of meat and cheese. I suppose the lettuce and the ketchup is more for coloring then anything. I believe it's 20 or so dollars.

Yea basically only a single and double double are on the menu but they'll make them as big as you want.  Like 3x3, 4x4, etc. Some guy here in Vegas recently beat the record by coming in and ordering a 100x100. And they actually made it for him. lol. But after that stunt the company limited everyone to 4x4 burgers.

They'll also make the burger however you want with what they have. But there are some variations that aren't on the menu but that the employees will al know. Like protien (letuce bun), animal style (mustard grilled bun and grilled onions), or for the truly irresponsible, the flying dutchmen (just two meat patties and to slices of chese. No bun, lettuce or tomato).

Similairly you can order the fries light, well, or extra well depending if you want them soft or crispy. And there's lots of other combos.

There you go. A basic guide to dining at in and out like a local, that you never asked for. No needs for thank yous. You're all welcome.

I Actually like the puzzle bits.  Its the timed platforming I dispise.  Maybe if I could get across the pit without falling 20 times I'd be willing to be timed.

Flibbles, agreed.

To add on to outlaw, you can order any combination of meat and cheese, such as a 2x4 (2 patties and 4 slices of cheese) or a 4x2 (4 patties and 2 slices of cheese). There is the grilled cheese (no meat, just regular burger with cheese). Neopolitan Shake (strawberry, vanilla, chocolate all in one shake). I believe they have Jalapeno peppers you can ask them to add to your burgers as well. Or at least ask for a side of them (they are free).

Huh.  I actually really like puzzle-platformers.
You know... games like Oddworld, Flashback, Out of this World, and the original Prince of Persia.

Maybe I'm just some weird deviant for liking these kind of games, but if a missed jump or your own idiocy doesn't get you killed, I'm not sure I'd call that game a platformer.

But to me, Oddworld and Flashback, those were games that benefited from puzzles. Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia 2008 or whatever, and Wolverine, do not benefit from puzzles. It slows down the action.

Take Wolverine for example. I just finished wiping out a room of tribal natives. Now I have to move a block from point A to point B to open a gated door. Not much of a puzzle, but it does ruin the adrenaline of destroying enemies.

Tomb Raider, to get to point B, I have to climb up this huge level. Okay, fine by me. But now I have to do it before the lever resets itself? Again, ruins the flow, because now instead of advancing through, I have to learn the path, then drop back down, pull the lever, and make sure to never deviate from the path in order to get out of the room. Not the best example of a puzzle, I suppose, but damn annoying. There are puzzles, I just can't recollect them since I never cared about them.

Prince of Persia 2008, I have to pull three different switches so that the three plates that are connected to one, two, or all three switches, light up in order for me to advance up the tower. Meh...
