Speaking of Sonic,

I have something to say about that particular establishment.

In my area, Sonic commercials grace our TV screens on a daily basis.  It may be their delicious looking drinks or scrumptious sundaes. Who knows, it could be their tots or breakfast burritos. I don't know, but they all look freaking delicious.  

Not to mention their cheap prices.

But hears the rub.

There are no F*#@&*% Sonic's anywhere NEAR me.  Not a f*&#*$$ one. NONE! Are there any even in my STATE? I don't know because I've never SEEN one before.

How the F*@& am I supposed to enjoy Sonic's offerings when I can't even F*#&%** find ONE!!

Lol. That sucks. I have two that are 30 minutes away from my area, but I'm not going to drive 30 mintues for a fast food burger, when I walk across the street for a burger.

I remember my first few platformers. Super Mario something on the SNES, Mega Man 1 I beleve, Mickey Mouse and the Castle of Illusion. Those were great.

Right now, I'm frustrated with Tomb Raider and the pointless puzzles. Barely miss a jump and you die, then I have to start back at the bottom to reach the top in the alloted time before the puzzle resets again. -_-

I think you are in MD and I don't ever remember seeing in MD VA or DC. We have them in colorado but I've never been. I actually went once but didn't eat there. Felt kinda dirty. They bring the food out to you like an old car hop but the people look like they are on Meth. If my food is being served by a Meth head I'd rather them hide in the shadows

I have the same thing, lotso Sonic commercials, no actual Sonic establishments that I am aware of.  In my case it is just a curiosity though, their food pictures don't have quite the rage inducing appeal to me.  and the unhealth content is probably quite high, as with all fast food.  so I can take it or leave it.  still have a Burger King on my street though.  score.

and on topic, I love platformers, without puzzles, a la Mario, SMG 1 and 2 still not doing that puzzle crap, fortunately

I was in the Geth ship last night on Mass Effect 2 and had to do a puzzle to make a bridge. I didn't know what to do or how to do it at first but when I found no other way to go I figured out what to do.

I had absolutely zero recollection of this part, but after some googling it looks like you are talking about the Overlord DLC yes?

Whoa isnce when is sonic deliscious and cheap? The only thing i get from there are drinks and shakes. The food is alot higher to me than other fast food restuarants and very VERY meh. In and out FTW.

I hate platformers that keep making you fall all the way to the bottom and then climb back up because you missed a jump by a millionth of an inch.

I have to drive a good 45 minutes to Milwaukee to eat at Sonics. Let's just say that it really isn't something I do on a daily basis.

I like how elfshotthefood tried to go back on topic, but was derailed by eaglethorn. Damn you Sonics for having good/bad food and flooding my thread. Speaking of which, I may actually try it this weekend when my friends and I go south to Monterey. :)

I'm pretty sure Salisbury has Sonic's (which mafafu said). There is one within a hour of my house and it is always crowded being the only location in northern NJ. They had to hire cops for traffic flow as it would back up onto the main roadway which is one of the main roads that lead to the Lincoln tunnel to NYC. The only time I've been to a sonic was on a family vacation in Cortez, Colorado (also known as the middle of nowhere) i remember it being meh and that i was annoyed that my dad wouldn't let us eat in the rental car.

I have a bigger problem with Jack in the Box not having locations anywhere. I've been to 27 states and have only seen a Jack in the box once (outside the nashville airport)

I keep seeing those stupid Sonic ads myself -they air all the time and I dont know of any Sonics around here. The ads make it look like they have 50 differnt kinds of slushies there. I want a slushie now

Now that I've calmed down, I remember that we have Sheetz's everywhere around here.  Their food more then makes up for lack of a Sonic.

I used to say the same thing about Sonic until one opened up like 10 minutes from my parents home in NJ.  Now they are slowly opening up in other parts of NJ.  I thought the food was great the first few times I ate it.  Quickly I realized the cheese tots are covered with cheese wiz and the food is overpriced for fast food.  Cherry limeade FTW!

Just recently Sonic opened their first location in Massachusetts, but it's not really close to my home so I have never gone there and it's just not really worth it when there are Five Guys and a bunch of better burger places around.
