why do ppl only have disc!?

im so tired of finding games that i want and its only the disc. i mean come on! how do u only have the disc? do u not take care of ur stuff? most games are like this and its annoying.

Learn patience, request games that are Full Package and wait.  Complaining that the only things readily available are Disc Only does not help you get games any faster.  Games are trading as Full Package, you seem to want things immediately and that's not how the site works.

I have the case and manual to every game I've ever owned.  I just send out the discs just to piss people off.

The last 3 DO games I have been matched with arrived as FP, so sometimes it's just a crap shoot.

There's no promises, of course, but I'm actually in good with three local GameStops, and if I'm interested in a new enough game but end up with a Disc Only for any reason, I can usually get lucky and they'll give me any missing supplies.

I've primarily done this with games bought from them, but they aren't asking if I did or didn't, and it's usually with a different GameStop. Once I  got a HORRIBLE condition manual off Goozex and the guys there handed me a mint condition manual like it was nothing. They sell it same price, boxed or not.

I've even seen games that I want on the queue here that are Disc Only, and gone to the store to see if they have the box. If I get lucky, I can get the box before I order the game! Instant line advancement by dropping off of FP. :)

I get plenty of games from used game stores with rental cases and no books, plus off survey sites. 

Also, it doesn't hurt to spell out the word "you".  This isn't an instant messenger.

It is mostly because they don't enough space to leave their games in the cases, they usually just put the disc in a CD holder and throw the case and manual away.

This really makes no sense - but if you want a game really bad, just get it disc only.

Even if you could get an intravenous supply of games, I don't think I'd recommend taking the dosage orally.  I also can't imagine that this is a popular procedure, so I doubt your wait has been all that long.

Let's see: they stole them, some *** sent them as DO when they requested FP and now they're trying to get rid of them, they bought them from, shudder, gamestop, their dog (or cat in my case) destroyed the manual/case, etc. There are reasons. I'm just tired of assholes listing as FP when they damn well know it's DO just because there is NO real recourse against them for doing it. At least the people listing as DO are being honest.

I have one of those folders that holds 300+ CDs and I keep all my games in there. The original cases take up too much room.

people like to take the disc out and store the case in the garage, disc in a binder or whatever.

Others only have the disc because they stole it from gamefly

Others only trade out disc because shipping is cheaper

Or they bought it from gamestop, it only came as a disc like 60% of their used games

Or they stole it from gamestop

or many other reasons.

I like cases myself
