i just cant wait for little big planet 2!!!! i think Little big planet is one of the best games i hav besides uncharted 2. : )

You gotta admit... LittleBigPlanet 2 has a whole lot of potential.  I just wish the platforming engine were a bit more solid.

It certainly has the potential to take my $80 for the sackboy plush and those bookends.

Exactly.  I preordered it the day it was announced .  One of the best sounding collector's editions in a while.

Agreed. I pre-ordered as soon i got wind of it. Could care less about the costumes that come with the game. The book ends look awesome and are definitely going to be used on my ps3 collection. XD

I'm assuming it's going to be very similar (platforming wise) to the first one, which I've only managed to get past the tutorial level before shelfing it

Hope you're wrong.  LBP has tons of potential and is a great creative release... but until the platforming tightens up and makes the game fun to play, it will remain a big miss for me.  (Of course this is subjective.  Lots of people love the game "as is".)

All the potential for 2, as I see it, is that user created content isn't limited to a platforming style.  Want to make a fighter?  Cool.  Want to do an RPG?  Go for it.  Don't want to use sackboys for your characters?  No problem.

Out of the box at release, the game may be a very similar experience to the first one.  Give it adequate time for people to learn the creation tool set, though, and it should prove to be interesting.

LBP2 is the game I'm anticipating most come fall. The first one is one of my favorite games, and the new content, i.e expansion beyond a platformer, is really making me want it. The CE's contents are the best I've seen in awhile, too.

I thought the first one was pretty neat, but at the same time, didn't hold my interest for more than a day or so.  Some really cool user created levels out there, but I just couldn't stick with it.

Color me not interested for part 2 so far.
