I'm thinking about replaying DAO and Awakening and want to know what you guys think about the DLC for the game and if its worth buying. I have warden's keep and the stone prisoner but not the rest:

Return to Ostagar

Darkspawn Chronicles

Leliana's Song

Anyways just want to who has play any of them and what you thought about them.  Thanks.

Awakening- full expansion IMO it was what I want from an expansion, more levels, more quests, more gear, more classes, more characters, LONG

 warden's keep - 2 hour DLC w/ a chest - must have for the chest, shame they make us buy it

the stone prisoner  - awful

Return to Ostagar - short but fun,, good idea to bring Dog, Alistair and Wynne to that quest - swords are nice, I thought the armor was disappointing

Darkspawn Chronicles - a lot more fun than I thought it would be, worth it for the DLC weapon alone

Leliana's Song - 3 hours or less, very good DLC.  See other DA thread for details

All the DLC seems to be priced pretty well, and in my opinion was worth it. I still have yet to play Leliana's Song though since I accidentally deleted my characters on ALL my Xbox 360 games while transferring to a new Xbox. So for atm I am working on Mass Effect.

Thanks for your thoughts guys. I really enjoyed having shale in my party too.  I think he is my favorite character besides the main one.  I think you have convinced me to buy the three I don't currently own.  Thanks again.

Haven't tried Return to Ostagar yet though I did buy it already. But Darkspawn Chronicles and Leliana's Song are both worth it, especially Leliana's Song.

I disagree with Dragon age dlc.

the last one got like a 6/10 on gamespot. I only own an xbox and the xbox version got an 8.5

Idk about you but i trust gamespot's reviews. Havent stirred me wrong yet.

I tried borderlands (8.5 on gamespot) and hated it

Only arcade games i buy that are below a 9. All of my games (Except fable 2 ) are a 9 or above on my xbox 360.

And i have enjoyed them very well

To disagree based purely on a review (from IGN no less) is pretty dumb this day and age. Overall if you liked Dragon Age you'll more then likely like the DLC it offers. Not to mention they aren't trying to overcharge you garbage like some other DLC.

Not to mention, to purchase games based on reviews is just as bad. Everyone has different tastes, sames goes for the ones reviewing the game .You only buy a 9 or above? I have purchased many XBL items and some is not as great as expected but only I know what I like, no one else can tell me differently. I'm starting to think your not even 18 yet.

While I agree, you probably haven't seen the ERAGE hate on the DAO forums from some users complaining about the DLC.  People were up in arms about Awakenings "only" being 30 hours long.

There is also the side issue of some DLC breaks Awakenings

Personally I am more than happy to buy full single player DLC (not just EA cheat codes and crap like that) but the Awakenings bug is pretty annoying

Haha no I try to refrain from official forums like those. The last one I was a part of was Sega's but they had noob mods running the PSU ones who are all pretty much a bunch of tards.

I actually never had any trouble myself on Awakening, but then again I play on the 360 on not the PC. As long as they didn't charge me full price for Awakening like L4D2 I was fine with it.

I have yet to feel cheated on DA or ME DLC (unlike some map packs), except if people buy those extra costumes that should be free!

I believe the higher you are the better grade it is, so it really doesn't matter unless you want the most potential out of the weapons and armor you find.

Can you play Awakening if you once played DA:O and then traded the game away but still have all the save data and game data on your console hard drive?
