I just want to strongly emphasize this! haha
Fuzion Frenzy 2, all girls love this game, esp. twisted system.

I haven't picked up any games for the 360 so no clue there.
Puzzle Quest: I have this on PSP, and love it, but never done multiplayer. What does the offline mutliplayer experience entail on 360?

+1 to this.
As for Pixeljunk Eden, sometimes my wife and I would argue over whose fault it was for plummeting to the bottom of the map, forcing you to essentially start over. Hopefully she (or you) is good at platformers!

Ditto.

Basically a second person can drop in with you at any time. You will both have to stay on the same screen, but that's not too hard to accomplish. She can help you fight and generally must follow you around. I am pretty sure she will have the same stats/abilities as you and she might have infinite lives.
Wii Sports Bowling.
PEGGLE not co op but great fun, also the Lego games as said earlier and i find that racing games are a blast to play or atleast watch most nongamers play, so that may be fun for atleast a laugh maybe.
StilesCrisis: Wii Sports Bowling.
Don't own a Wii nor do I plan on ever buying one.
won't buy a Wii? too bad nintendo is the first thing I think of when I want to play anything with local multiplayer that is all age/gender friendly
or you could look around ebay or craigslist and pick up a cheap gamecube, extra controller, mariokart doubledash and smash brothers for a little more than the cost of a new ps3 game.
lots of hours of fun gameplay there.
Besides drunken Wii bowling, I have never had fun with a Wii. Its not really the graphics, I do some retro gaming, so you know its not that. As far as games that make use of the motion controller, just never noticed any that great. As far as games that are not motion based, I just rather play on a better console.

Thought this thread was about your partner having a good, accessible time? If she would have fun playing the Wii I see no harm in it.
Oh, I agree. I am just not a big fan of the Wii, so I am probably not going to buy one for the gaming we will do together every once in awhile.
I second rokobungi's statement if you don't want to get a Wii. A Gamecube, two controllers, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros. shouldn't run you all that much.
Hell, you can even get the games here and just find a cheap Gamecube at a yard sale. Everyone is getting rid of them since the Wii is backward compatible.
