If you pick up the system and are a fan of RPGs at all do yourself a favor and pick up Ogre Battle 64.  Not only was it the best RPG on the console(the only one?), but it was IMHO one of the three best of that console generation.

Only disappointing systems for me were the Xbox 1, Gamecube(kinda), and PSP.

I sold my N64 and a few other systems to my brother-in-law a few years ago, but I don't think they have left the basement of his father's house.  Last week my wife and I were visiting and I mentioned to her that I would like to get my hands on an N64 again, so she told me to go look around the basement because he would never notice.  I went down there and scrounged around, but couldn't find anything.  It didn't help that I did not know where to look.

She is visiting again for a few days over the weekend/beginning of next week, so I am hoping I can get her to look a little better than I did.  I mean you know us guys, if it doesn't pop right out in plain view it is not there.  Big Smile

I still don't remember if I just sold him the system or I sold some games too.  I know I sold him Sega Genesis with Sega CD and a about 5 or 6 games.  I'd love to get my hands on those again too. (For trade of course.)

I wonder how much I could get for my N64.  I have 4 controllers (2 of them 3rd party), as well as the expansion pack, rumble pack, and most of the major hits (Super Mario 64, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Starfox, Goldeneye, Zelda OoT, Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64, Bomberman 64).  Shipping everything wouldn't make sense, but I'm a bit apprehensive of CL.

If anyone is in the MD area and is interested, hit me up! :)

The games are worth more then the system. Why not trade the games on here

Cash > points

My backlog is big enough already, and I have enough points to keep me going for a while.  Even if I got 1000-2000 points, it wouldn't do me much good.

You guys need to go back and play some classics if you think the N64 and OG Xbox were complete failures.

Go for it. It isn't quite the SNES in terms of its library, and yes the controller sucked, but it's still one of my favorites. Games I would recommend:

Banjo-Kazooie
Body Harvest
Bomberman 64
Diddy Kong Racing
Donkey Kong 64
Duke Nukem Zero Hour
F-Zero X
Glover
Goldeneye 007
Kirby 64
Mario Kart 64
Mischief Makers
Paper Mario
Perfect Dark
Shadow Man
Star Fox 64
Super Mario 64
Super Smash Bros.
Turok 2
Wave Race 64
Yoshi's Story
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Zelda: Majora's Mask
