Thanks.  I would volunteer to host a room for Gears 2, but this will be my 3rd time playing MP...

I'm hoping once things slow down toward the end of the night we have time for some horde mode

BFZ mentioned you guys ran the gambit on horde mode over the weekend while I was busy drinking and playing Rock Band.

I want in on the hot horde mode action this time...

Okay for the scoring tonight we will be doing Warzone and Execution.  We will start playing at around 9:15 and break off into two rooms.  We will play until about 10pm.  The top players from each room will go onto the finals where we will do the same thing except only play for about 30mins.  Scores will be based on the points you get in game.  Also each win will get you points.  Havent decided how many points each member of the team will get for the win yet.  I will start playing for fun around 8pm if anyone wants to play then feel free to join in.

Any thoughts as to what might be on the schedule after Gears 2 this week?

As a protest to being banned I have cancelled the xbox MVP events.

Just kidding.  I will have a talk with some fellow goozers and come up with a schedule for August in the next couple of days.  We will probably start with an XBLA.

Thanks to everyone that showed up and thanks blindsight for hositng you did a great job with keeping the scores.  I had a blast killing people especially BFZ.

The results:

Cheesecake000 easily took first place kicking the crap out of everyone.
Moderngamer2018 took second place thanks to a strong final game
Killmak got third barely edging out Frenzy Rebel
Frenzy Rebel was in second going into the final game but just couldnt get it going and ended up dropping to fourth.

Also BFZ narrowly edged out Shady in the competition they had going on.

I forgot about this event and only remembered when shady messaged me about Uno. I saw 12 people online playing Gears and was like oh crap. :(

Thanks for reminding me how much I suck at Gears....

At least I got to chainsaw BFZ and R2K, so the night wasn't a complete waste - definitely had fun for the hour that I played.   The finals took a longer than I expected and I eventually got distracted by a PM from hatter and a phone call so I missed out on any Horde Mode that may have gone on after the finals finished.

My vote is still Peggle for next week.....or CoD4.

No problem with hosting, I enjoy keeping track scores

Thanks for the games. Tonight was a bunch of fun even if I did drag down whatever team I was on hah.
I swear cheesenrice was out to get me - he was always the first person I ran into and things rarely went my way.

Killmak, let me know if you need the list of people that played in my room that didn't make the finals.
