Here's the thing. I've been using Goozex for a while. I thought that once you've had several successfull trades, and a good trade record, trade points are added immediately into your account once you commit to a trade. These points would be immediately available for use. Am I correct?
Recently, when I had 400 points, I commited to trading a game worth 250 points. 650 points appeared as my account total and my trade credit went down one. So far so good. I then asked for a game trade worth 650 points. I now have 0 points. Goozex even found a match. Here is the problem. I received an e-mail from Goozex saying I missed out on the available trade because I was short 250 points. Why? Does the recipient have to receive and then give feedback before the trade amount is really available in your account?

Happens to me all the time, I think Goozex tabulates missed out trades a while before sending out the automatic email. Basically, it means the game was ready to trade when you only had 400 points, so Goozex added it to a list of missed trades. At least I think that's what happens.
You don't get the points until you confirm shipment.
I know. I've already confirmed my shipment of the game back on March 14th.
Squiddy: my trade credit went down one
my trade credit went down one
You're trade credit should not change when YOU send OUT a game. I hope this did not happen. As for the problem, I would check your history if I were you. Everything should add up.
Your explanation makes sense. I put the 650 point game on my Request list when I only had 400 points in my account. I immediately got a "not enough points" prompt. I then traded a 250 point game and within a day Goozex found a match for me. The I knew I had enough points in my account for the 650 point game. I was just surprised to get the "not enough points" e-mail after I mailed the game out.
Here's an example, I got a "trades you missed out on" email today, that included the following:
But I actually got matched for this game two days ago and it already shipped. Their email system is just slow/
