"Xbox Originals" Clarification

Hoping to get some input on this.
The Xbox 360 offers some original Xbox titles to be downloaded from Xbox Live. These games are called Xbox Originals and include games like Psychonauts, Halo, Gauntlet, Ninja Gaiden and more.
I see a number of these listed as available right now and in my mind, to be considered positive feedback, the seller MUST send the downloadable version and not the original Xbox game, as that would be considered a wrong game.

I wouldn't mind getting a few more games on my hard drive, but I don't want the actual game discs if I request it from the Xbox 360 listing. I would only want the downloadable version.
I've requested a few of them quite some time ago (maybe a year ago or so) and each time I would email the seller right when I saw we were matched up and let them know what I was expecting. Every single person needed to cancel because they were going to send the actual Xbox disc and not provide either a code or MS Points to download the game. I even had a few people accept the trade even after I emailed and then request a cancel and some of them even bought a shipping label from Goozex and were out a few bucks.

Is there an official ruling on these games? If you request an Xbox Original game from the 360 page, is a disc version acceptable despite technically not being what you requested? Has this come up at all in the past?  I'd love some other opinions here.  Kinda wanna request Gauntlet and Sega Soccer Slam, but I don't want to do it and end up getting the original Xbox games shipped to me...

I have tried to do the same as you in the past. I tried to get Jade Empire many times, but eventually gave up as the only copies being posted were people trying to get the extra points (at the time it was more expensive).

If it states XBox Original, you should expect a download code only. People posting their games as an XBox Original are just trying to get the extra points. 

If you receive a disc you can leave a negative for wrong item received, as the XBox Original is a download only item, and it shows the seller did not use the UPC on the game itself. Hell, it clearly states it is an XBox Original on the cover art, it's under the 360 section, and has a date of release of when the game came out as an XBox Original.

I've been trying to get BLACK since I joined goozex. (no pun intended, preempting IWX now...)

Several times I've been matched only to go through the cancellation process after sending a PM to the sellers.

Sadly I don't think I'll ever get this one and will have to drop the MS points

I'm with both of you on this though, clearly we are just trying to get the code and not the game.  A negative is warranted if they send the disc version and won't cancel.

I know, I know, I set myself up for that one.

Next time we're at a meetup, don't mention that to Mrs. BFZ., She grew up in PG (somehow made it out alive) and regularly beats me whenever I crack a joke about it.

Good to see I'm not the only person having the same problem.  I might try requesting a few again and just get a form email ready to copy/paste anytime I get matched up with somebody...

I wonder if we'll eventually see a dedicated Games on Demand section. I wouldn't mind getting a few downloadable 360 games as well as long as I knew what I was getting.  I've got 50GB left on that 250GB hard drive! Gotta fill that sucker up!!

Correct. I've had to give Negative fb 3 times in trying to get GTA:SA (and now I've got 3 copies of the Xbox disc that people didn't care to get back). I finally gave up and bought it as a Deal of the Week a couple days ago.

Send me one:)  I'd like to check out the XBOX version of SA< only ever played the PS2
