PSN Games for Trade - How's That Work?

Hey everyone,

So I've been browsing the PS3 line-up of games for a while, and every so often I come across games that are only available through the PSN (i.e. - Mega Man 9, Rag Doll Kung-Fu) and not in a physical form.  They seem like they are available for trade, but I have absolutely no idea how a trade like that would work.  Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

People either have a Download code or a PSN card code to give you the value of the game, which you will then input and download the game
