I  reallly searched around for the answer to this cause I didnt want to sound like a noob... but  I am sooo...  I have a buyer that cancelled on me but in my haste of excitement that someone actually wanted one of my games.  I quickly accepted and purchased shipping which has cost me $3 ready to send it first thing in the morning for quick delivery.   About an hour later the buyer ( who apparently is a very noob as well)  Requested cancellation due to didnt realize it was just the disc which is how it was listed.  Now goozex asks me if I want to accept there request for cancellation.  I feel for the persons mistake but Im not to inclined to accept there cancellation for it would see me out my $3.  ( which is probaly almost half the value of the game)    Now Im not super worried about loseing the game if they report it falsely received or something, but more Ive all ways strived to keep a perfect rep on every online thing I keep.  And I dont want it tarnished here.    I did send buyer a message to explane the circumstance and also offering to send with case like they want but the case is pretty beat up, reason for listing it just disc.  I am waiting for there responce to this offer but..  What should I do if they just get all miserable with me??  If I send it I could lose rep..  If I accept Im out $3 bucks and what would I do If  I had already sent it??   Please any wisdom from all you pros would be much apprechiated.

If you send it and the game works, they are obligated to give you positive feedback. You are under no obligation to accept the trade cancellation. It is not your mistake that they picked the game as disc only. If they don't want it, they can relist it themselves. So, I would send it.

If you bought it through the Goozex service, delivery confirmation should have been added in. If not, make sure to get that before you send it so there is proof that it was sent.

You've done the right thing in this situation, it appears. Buyers love quick sellers, and you've been very good about your communication. If these things carry on, you will be a valuable and welcome member to the Goozex community!

Personally, I'd say since you've already paid for shipping it's as good as shipped. The buyer is just SOL and should learn to request what they actually want next time.

I'd also make sure to slap a DC sticker on there and send a preemptive heads-up email to Goozex just in case the buyer tries anything "cute."

If you've done everything right, such as listing the game correctly, in an instance like this, just politely message them that it's too late, and the item is already shipped.  Once you pay for shipping, it's too late for them to expect a cancel, in my book.

Just confirm your item shipped, with your delivery confirmation number, or if you're in canada, hold onto the receipt and take a picture of the package addressed to them. (if it isn't already sealed, then take a picture of the contents as well)

Thanks..  I think were all like-minded  Its just good to hear other people agree to my actions.  And I did buy shipping through Goozex service so I do have the DC.  I will send them case in all ether way call it an added bonus even if its a little scared up.  I'll just have the post office add a couple extra stamps to it.  Gotta love those cheap cardboard collectors cases!!  So hopefully it makes them happy.  Thanks again!!
