So I sent an item to USER A on March 8th using delivery confirmation via USPS.

The tracking # showed that the item was delivered on March 11th (3 days) and right now it is March 15th (4 days after it's delivered).

One question I have is how long do I have to WAIT it out, basically.. I know that there's a time period that I have to give the buyer, etc as I have read some of the forums and FAQ BUT the buyer posted a POSTIVIE comment on a different game on March 12th (a day after item was delivered to the buyer's address)!!!!

I am fairly new here about a week or so and wanted to get my feedback up so I have more slots open for trading.

I am not upset at the buyer (yet), but I felt like I'm being holded out by him/her. My only problem on getting upset is that I have sent 2 more games ON/AFTER March 11th and have received BOTH POINTS AND FEEDBACKS from ther users within 24 hours after I got the confirmation from USPS that the game's been delivered!

I have no reason to be upset or decided to cancel my goozex account because of the buyer's behavior but isn't it common courtesy to get the trade squared away ASAP? As a buyer, I would want to get a game in the least amount of the time possible (which prompted me to write what I wrote on my "about me" on my profile), in return as the Seller, I would want to get the positive feedback and get my points so I could buy my games.....

INFO ABOUT MY SHIPPING/HANDLING:

I "ALWAYS" print the shipping label that I can print (not the pre-paid one), take a picture or two with the game, shipping labels/info sheet to be inserted with the game, and the bubble mailer I'm sending the game(s) in.

Use USPS first class mail, with delivery confirmation.

**
The most time I spent between receiving an e-mail to be mailed and getting the stuff to the post office is a day (yesterday: got an e-mail about a game and I sent the buyer that I'm not in town and will send the game tomorrow, which is today; item is in the mail already). All other have been done within a 3-hr period if I receive an e-mail before 3 PM PST (as stated in my "about me")
**

That's all I have for now... hopefully someone would know what to say to this kind of problem.

The19MrHockey

PS: feel free to message my "4" buyers and ask them about my packaging, handling, etc about the game(s) they received.
PPS: Heck, I even got my points already from the buyer that I sent the item today!!!

How long should I SELLER give a buyer time to leave feedback/points once item is confirmed to be delivered by USPS,etc?

As sellers, we want to get feedbacks/points as soon as possible. As this was the case of my post today, how long of a time is acceptable before SELLER should/could/ NEED to send a message to buyer about the item in question

Some people like to take time to throughly test their games, because once a positive is left, it cannot be reversed.

Worst case scenario, the trade will autoclose after 14 or 21 days (depending n weather the trade was domestic or international,) and you will get your points then.

And once your feedback is high enough (I think it's after you've received a 21 feeback score,) you will gets points automatically upon confirming shipped.

I forgot to mention that the game is still new, still in original wrapping. So if that's his/her excuse then I'm calling that BS. I do have pictures to prove it that it was new.

I'm not trying to say that your comment is useless but that's just some missing information that I forgot to mention on my original post =]

As far as the worst case scenario, I'm not worried about the 14/21 days. I just wanted to get more slots to trade that's all. Considering I'm new here, I only had like 3 slots open and it filled pretty quickly since the games that I put up had me "First in line!" so I was very excited to start my goozex experience with that =]

I'm sad to say that I got a 1 out of 5 stars on my post. :-/ Like I said, I'm new here and was wondering about the info, read the FAQ, but only got the 21 days thing so yea... I thought I'd give a shout out and see what answer(s) I would get.

Thanks BuryMe for writing back!

In that case, the only thing I can think of is that you're dealing with a user wo prefers to be hands off, unlesss there's a problem.

The best advice I can give in this case is to fire off a polite PM to the other user noting that you see he's received the game, and you'd appreciate feedback of some sort.

We all have to wait for feedback sometimes, but luckily most people are more on the ball.
