I've converted quite a few, but sometimes it sounds too good to be true and people don't really believe it until they try it, no matter what I tell them.

I tell anyone that is on the way to get bent over by Gamestop to join Goozex
I've tried convincing my brother, my nephew and my coworker to sign up, but they never do. I think it's mostly just laziness. With my coworker, I wrote down a list of his games, called Gamestop and got the trade-in value, and wrote those down, then looked them up on here and wrote down the point value (which I converted to $ value for comparison's sake). He was surprised and impressed, but he wanted to just give me all his games to trade for him and when he wanted a game, he'd let me know. lol I already trade for myself, my bf and my kids. I'm not adding anymore, all my points keep going to their crap.
I tell them nothing. I'm Goozex greedy.

I have a buddy who wanted me to do the same thing... he is also the same guy who wants to give me money to invest for him, whenever I tell him about the stocks I buy... damn lazy friends....

lol...doesn't being Goozex greedy hurt you, in that there are less traders to mingle with?
Then again, I suppose if you're the only one adding traders, you could just as easily trade with them directly. Give them a piece of paper with '800 points' written on it and watch their facial expression.

Most of my real life friends don't game. But i have got a few people to join that i met at a midnight launch at a Gamestop. Just point out the good that Goozex has to offer. Explain to them that there first few weeks/months here will be a little slow, so they are not angry. And see them a few months later and they tell me how happy they are with Goozex.
