I called about a week ago to see the price of Left 4 Dead 2... I made a trade with a friend, I traded a copy of Medal of Honor; airborne I got on goozex for Left 4 Dead 2... I was going to trade it on goozex but I got 4500 points currently and they aren't going fast...I seen the advertisement for 50% more trade in. So, I called gamestop and they said they could give me 30$ plus the 50% making it 45$. I waited a week because I have more important things then rush to gamestop... I walked in she scanned it and I would be getting 20$ instead of 45$... Guess what? They lowered the price from the 60$ they were selling it to to 30$... Wonderful, the best part is when the employee basically she said she hates her job.. She said, "Sorry gamestop has a tendancy to drop prices with no prior warning's. Im so sorry". Then she was nice about it and gave me a gamestop bag to carry my game back home in...
I guess I'm trading it on goozex... More points I can't spend... I'll have 6,000 points after I mail out The guitar hero game... This is why I avoid gamestop...

Yeah, as soon as I heard GS was giving $45 for L4D2, I rushed over there hoping to catch it before they lower it. Maybe next time you won't be so patient.
Now to wait for it to drop in points and get an instant trade.

This is why the Goozex exchange needs to come back! I am debating whether to trade my copy of Heavy Rain on here or trade it to Gamestop plus the 50% extra towards God of War III. I mean I have plenty of points now as it is and nothing to request...
If anyone has any info on the exchange it would be nice to hear it.

I found out on Monday and called over on Tuesday. They had already dropped it. :(
I did get lucky and got $37.25 for UC2 at Amazon this week and later that night it dropped to $18. And Amazon prices are way better than Gamestop prices. So that made me feel better. I also am in the position of having too many points right now.
46$ was like the first week you took to long
ME2 was 56$ the first week as well most games were around the 40$ mark now they barely reach 30$
Yeah Gamestop sucks, but it seems kind of silly to blame them when you yourself said you had better things to do than make your way over there. Better things than earning some cash in a promo deal? Any way to earn a little bit of quick cash should always be on the priority list.
