I'm currently in the process of completely rewriting iGoozex from the ground up for the next official release. I've learned a lot about the ins-and-outs of the iPhone OS since last touching the code for this app, as well as valuable feedback from the community and users. I'm also planning to adapt the app to the new iPad to take advantage of the larger screen and higher resolution.
I created this thread as a place for comments and suggestions as far as where the next revision should go.
Did you use the version that is currently on the App Store? (link here) What did you think? What would you have changed?
I'm specifically looking or comments on how you'd change the interface and how things are laid out in general. Feel free to suggest features but be aware that I (along with all other developers using the Goozex API) am limited still in what I am allowed to do, especially concerning managing your account and requests/offers.
Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I use this app. It's not bad if you just want to look at your queues. But I'd really like the option of adding or removing games/movies on my queue. Or also to accept or reject a trade.
Would also be cool if it had a pop up on your iphone if you got matched for a trade, so you'd know right away to accept or reject.
Also, don't know if its possible, but it would be cool to be able to read the forums. I know I can on the browser, but its so so so damn slow.
Just a few ideas, don't know if they are possible or not.
just copy the facebook app minus things that dont apply, but seriously, if it worked similar to the fb app i would use it most def.

What specifically about the Facebook app do you mean?
Try to make it more appealing to the eye. Not sure how though. Also maybe having the option to sort offers/requests by points. The cover for the app is a little blurry. If you look at the Goozex monster's head, it looks like someone erased it a little bit.
I agree with everything Ghostworld said. Also make it easier on the eye. Make it smooth and flowing.
Adding to what slushersa said about the FB app, possibly make a main page with different categories. Be able to browse the forums, I would love to be able to accept and reject trades from the app too. A pop up would also be excellent.
Hope this helps some! I'm looking forward to the new and improved Goozex app.

That's mostly from the gloss over effect that Apple applies to the logo when the binary gets built. I'll have to check if the logo looks better with the gloss effect turned off.
When I had my Iphone i used the app and requesting and adding game/movies is a definite must.
Now i have the droid and downloaded goozex pocket and love this app. Layout and use is great. Also it has the ability to request or add a game by scanning the bar code with the camera.
Pm me your email addy for Lockerz invite have 9 left redemption coming soon

Sadly I don't have a Droid to test out and see how it's implemented. My friend does, though. I may have to borrow his one of these nights for a test run.
I want to be able add and remove games/movies from my queue and forum/PM integration.
MY TACO IS BIGGER THAN YOURS!!!!!

how it gives you pushes/notifications would be cool so you know when u have a trade pending.

Sadly there are costs associated with running a server with security requirements (per Apple) to push notifications out that I can't warrant in a free application. Would love to do it, though.
EDIT: On second thought, if I can get an application deployed that makes me some cash and uses notifications, I could probably tack iGoozex's notifications onto it. We'll have to see about that.
The ability to request games would be great. And notifications if a game is ready to trade or if you get matched up for a game would be awesome.

oh, so any app that gives pushes on the operating system screen requires $, makes sense, b/c who can resist opening an app with a red highlighted number on it.

Yeah, it's not Apple that charges you, though. You need to have an SSL certificate (last time I checked) and a server that notifies Apple's servers when and where to send notifications. Very secure considering spammers who could access it would have a field day sending out fake notifications.
Send too many notifications using a DIY server on a home connection and most ISP's will take notice quickly.
