Just a Google search here. I clicked on a few links and liked Goozex the most. It seemed the easiest and most user friendly. Also, I liked the fact that I could trade movies too.
I've been selling my games on Amazon for years, but I was getting annoyed with the cut they were taking on the sale. I thought to myself that "they should invent a site where you can just trade games with other people". Little did I know, they already had, and it had been around for a long time.
I read an article in the Washington Post (Nov. 6, 2006) about the same time PC Gamer had an article on Goozex, so I joined up double time and have been a happy camper ever since.
I believe I wanted to sign up for a contest that I saw posted on Destructoid.... I may not have won that contest, but I am glad that I signed up for this site as it has saved me a ton of money while still being able to play all the games that I've wanted to play.

Goozex has been the top rated game trading site from the CAG polls every year for the past 4-5 years.
That's because goozex rocks!
CAG + Goozex = Gaming discount heaven
I'm gonna buck the trend here: I found it through StumbleUpon. Clicking through one day when I landed on it. Usually I'd just keep going, but something made me stop (probably the absurd looking Gooz Monster), and I loved it!

A friend I used to work with kept telling me about the site, then sent me the refer-a-friend link with the free 100 points. I wound up waiting a bit before checking it out, but when I finally did I looked up some games I wanted that were hard to find, and they were actually going for reasonable prices. After my first couple trades I was hooked. Was the first trading site I've used, and Goozex and I have maintained a monogamous relationship ever since.
CAG!
I realized this was the best place to help rid myself of my massive backlog of PC games I weren't never gonna play or had already finished.
Lovin' it here.

Ditto.
I saw an ad and people discussing it on CAG back in 2007. I checked it out, determined it sounded like a good service. And I was correct! xD

Through a friend when they had the 100 pts deal. This is the only place I get games now with the exception of insane sales on new games every now and then.

Saw it mentioned on somebody's board on SaySwap. Thought to myself it can't be worse than SaySwap, so I gave it a shot.
