I did chacha for a while before their rate change last year. I think when I started it was 0.20 a question.
In like 2 1/2 months i made over a $1000. Sometimes I average $10 an hr, similar to kgb, people would text answers to the service and I would answer them.
Now I think their rate is .05 or.10, and it depends more on how well you answer the questions to meet the consumer's demand.
Nice article here

If you live in a large city, you might want to check into Focus Forward. They do email surveys, and you can make a little off that, but they often do large focus groups that pay quite well-often $100 or more. Downside is that they are almost always in large metro areas, but some of them are phone interviews, so still worth signing up. Pinecone is awesome, by surveyspot has been pretty much way more time than it's worth.

You could always take up online gambling. I was probably pulling down $10-12 an hour or so playing poker at the .10/.25 tables.

I don't believe the gubment allows that anymore. I tried doing it about a year ago and no money could be involved :(
Ah yeah there is plenty of online poker to be played. Is it considered unlawful according to the United States? Absolutely. Do thousands of Americans play online daily? Absolutely. There are some online poker sites that do not allow U.S. residents to sign up, but there are several that do.

Hook a brotha up then! What sites do you use?

Pokerstars and Fulltilt are the two big ones that allow US players. UltimateBet is probably next biggest.
I think I still have a couple hundred over at PokerStars and about $250 in frequent player points once I can work up enough PT in a single month for them to let me start using it on cash. One of these days I'll cash those out.
Problem though is that games get tough at a lot lower levels than before now because of the crappy laws. So it's not nearly as easy to make really good money. But there's still plenty of garbage players at .10/.25's and even .25/.50's though to rake in steady cash just farming for sets and stuff. Not exciting stuff by any means, but you'll make money.
Ultimate Bet and Absolute poker, two different sites, but same format and same company. These are the two I play on.
It's not online but you can always sell plasma as long as you weigh over 105lbs. You can even go twice a week. Big downside is that you can't drink for at least 24 hours before you go in.
Thanks for the tip I joined surveysavvy and pinecone research
do these places send snail mail spam too?

Nice...another Pokerstars cash player. I play in the small and micro blinds myself, which is odd because when I sit down at a casino I don't have that option and don't mind (usually start at $1/$2). I definitely do better in person than online though; it's easier to get distracted when the whole internet is behind the game window and you've sat out the past 7 hands.
I think I still have $50 or so that I left there...I really should see if I can build upon that.

My biggest problem is that I multi-table like crazy and end up getting burned out. I was actually trying to grind a $50 deposit up to 10K. I got up to 1200 and then got burned out, and I've taken out the 1K to justify video game purchases to my wife. :) That's why I have I think 25,000 frequent player points there right now.
First - my apologies for digging up an old thread.
I wanted to add that I signed up for PInecone Research after reading this thread. A week after I finished my application I got my first survey. I completed it and today got a physical, tangible check in the mail. It does work.
Yeah, Pinecone pays out pretty regularly, and after your first few checks, you can set it up to send it directly to your paypal account if you have one. I use that to pay for just about every token I use here just from them. I also just cashed out 60 bucks worth to my paypal from surveyspot this weekend too for about 2 months worth of surveys as well. Gotta love these things.
