A supply curve, just like a demand curve, is price sensitive.  If Goozex set the price of GOW3 to 100 points, you'd have thousands of requests and no one willing to sell at that point.

The same thing happens at the bottom.  I have probably 10-15 games at home that are currently worth 100 points.  It's just not worth my effort to send them out for a measly $2.50 profit.  They're worth more to me collecting dust on my shelf than $2.50. 

What the OP is saying is that if there are tons of people lined up to buy something and no one willing to sell it, then the set price is too low.  Supply or Demand in Bangaladesh does not affect supply and demand here.  All that matters is the number of traders here.

And if you think about it, Goozex makes more money by setting an appropriate price (more trades, more token sales).  I don't think a price floor is the answer.  I think (as the OP suggested) and algorithm that takes into account the actual supply and demand on Goozex is the right answer.  While this may work as intended on newer titles, it isn't functioning in a manner that is good for anyone (buyer, seller, or Goozex) on some high demand/low supply older titles.

Yes, a used copy "retails" for 10.  If you sell it to game stop, you get 1.99 if you are lucky.  Or if you manage to find someone on amazon to give you 10 for it.

Yes, but the whole reason why Goozex works is because you get points equal to what a game is worth, not what Gamestop will give you.  Gamestop will give you $25 for Mass Effect 2, does that mean it should be a 500 point game on Goozex?  No, because Goozex is not selling games for profit, they are facilitating trades between gamers.  The point system should reflect fair market value.  Judging by the amount of on hold offers for Condemned 2, I would say I'm not the only one who feels its under valued by 100 points.
