It's amazing how long liberals can stay butt hurt. The intent of the thread was not to be political at all, after the first opening salvo against Bush I thought I'd provide some balance by thowing some Clinton lines in. Since then there have been a few good lines but most are just regurgitated and tired Bushisms. Oh, and I'm not a Bush fanboy. I think Barry, W, Slick Willie, and Read My Lips were at best somewhat mediocre and at worst VERY BAD for our country. I like it when nothing get's done in Washington, because then it typically means they're not creating any more problems. The last president I would say was "good" was Ronald Reagan. Yes liberals, I'm guessing you can find some dumb things he said too. But one good thing he said was "Government is not the solution to the problem, government is the problem." If you want to blame the bad economy on anything it's the government screwing around with banks. If they left well enough alone we'd all be in a lot better shape.

Well I mean, you made a thread of things dumb people say when trying to sound smart, then you have to expect a lot of Bush's lines to be in here, because he is one of the stupidest presients we have ever had, He had no business running a country, but I am also going to have to disagree with you saying Reagan was a good president, Between him and Nixon the whole war on drugs crusade was unleashed which has done a lot more harm than good, as it did not correctly educate people, merely scared them with skewed statistics and outright lies.
Just sayin...if you start a thread about dumb people and expect George W. Bush not to be brought up a lot...then the name of this thread may be a stupid thing said because Bush has said more dumb things than anyone I know.
seriously, enough with the politics. Both sides are corrupt and liars. period. But you can always tell who's far left, as Reagan was popular with Republicans and Democrats, just not the extreme liberal left who currently holds the democratic party by the balls.

Exactly. You can always find huge problems with people, that's why I don't argue in favor of about 98% of politicians. If I'm going to stand up for something, I argue on the basis of ideas and principles. And when I vote, I vote for the guy who most closely resembles those ideas and principles.
And then I spend the next four years wishing I voted for somebody from some 3rd party who never really had a chance. Last election was the worst. I'm a Constitutional conservative, and I had to choose between a liberal and a Communist. Then I went home and threw up in the crapper, I'm never voting for a liberal again no matter what. Probably.
