"I've been in the Bible every day since I've been the president."
I like this site http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/blbushisms.htm
criminolelawyer: SuperRick:"You can't and shouldn't legislate morality." this actually isn't a stupid statement at all. I'm taking a health law class (im in law school) and this topic dominates much of the discussion. Maybe its not worded properly, but the statement is fundamentally sound. Its more of an argument than a statement really.

This could could go on for years.
It all comes down to definitions at some point, and what the definition of morality is.
Extreme Point: If it's immoral to kill someone then I guess we shouldn't and can't write laws against that.
Extreme Counter Point: Then I guess we should throw people in jail for telling white lies.
I think it's a stupid saying because history and common sense shows that laws are supposed to be written to restrain the corrupt adamic nature in man. In other words, to legislate morality.
We won't do it on our own.

I remember seeing the previews for that, I never did watch it though. Was it any good?

That movie is awesome,,,just like everything else Matt Stone and Trey Parker have done...especially Cannibal the Musical!
If you've got the right sense of humor it's brilliant. Also: puppet sex.
Another Bushism:
"I'm hopeful. I know there is a lot of ambition in Washington, obviously. But I hope the ambitious realize that they are more likely to succeed with success as opposed to failure."

My wife said this the other night while we were watching district 9
"i thought you said this was a movie; it's a damn documentary"
I find this thread very shallow and pedantic.

From a public servant:
"I'm happy that public servants' pay has been frozen; it'll mean less taxes and more money in my pockets"
(and I've got nothing against public servants, mind you; I AM one)

Absolutly, we should all go back to talking about how the sticker on the upper right hand corner of my game means it's not a full package trade. Now THAT'S a deep and meaningful conversation.
Not that I'm into deep and meaningful conversations, I typically despise them.

Seriously, another "stickers make me mad" thread is what we need.
Oh, and hockey sucks.
