It is cheaper than I expected it to cost, but I will wait some time before I make a decision if I want to purchase "Project Shitbox".

"It's cheaper than I thought but my cheap ass probably won't buy it unless it's sold at $50 and bundled with a game."

It sells like "hotcakes" only for the fact that companies buy them by the hundreds.

Wii Fit also has a defined piece of software that people know about and it was able to create a mini fitness fad.  Both have helped it's cause.

Natal is an unknown for now.  We know a bit about what it can do, but there's been no actual software put forth.  It looks great as far as allowing you to do some amateur motion capture...but what am I actually supposed to play with that?

Have you looked for them in stores lately? They are sold out everywhere, so obviously people are buying them too.

Yea but, its the Wii.. you can sell Wii turd and it will sell...

I would be surprised if Natal is more than $50-$60 myself. $100 with a GOOD game. 

I do have an interest in Natal, though.  But I also have an interest in the Sony ice cream cone things as well.
