Can you get above rank 10 in the beta? I haven't tried the race types beyond "Mash Up" yet so I didn't know if that would allow you to rank up more. I really wanna try the corvette .

The fileplanet link on the 1st page of this thread will get you a code. The xbox page says the release date is May 25th but we'll see.

In a video when asked, they said the level cap is 15. It says the same thing on one of the tips during load screens. But currently, it's capped at level 10. I assume they'll raise the cap a little later 'cause there's still 2 cars and some powers to unlock.
And I don't know why they made it a closed beta when they're giving out tens of thousands of codes everywhere. I've got like a dozen and I'm trying to get my friends to play.
Said it elsewhere and the mario kart with real cars sums it up pretty well. It's a much faster paced game though, and personally I'm loving it. The real cars is always refreshing, rather than dealing with bogus knockoffs, and the racing is often nothing more than barely controlled chaos. Having a familiarity with Mario Kart did help though, as my other PC oriented friend (no consoles at all until recently) was at a loss in most matches, not knowing simple things like being able to fire backwards or how to drive evasively. He began to hold his own towards the end though.
I was just going to buy this game on a whim back in November (when it was releasing in November) and it seems that whim would have paid off. Now I just have to decide whether or not to get it on PC or get this 360 edition.
Nothing like 20 cars on the starting line all spamming their starting powerup. It's one of the few times I'm glad I start with a shield more often than not...lol.
