Let me add, while everyone here is correct, make sure to keep things civil. Yes, the buyer seems like a chucklehead, but please make sure you stay mature and do not talk to him as you described him in the OP. Good luck.

more likely (if they use the forums at all) he'll be on here, this thread, pissed at being called a moron.  not that I can't agree with the assessment of his mental faculties in this case, really. at least as far as using Goozex is concerned. I'm sure someone thinks they are a lovely person :P, at least their Mom has to.

No one has said that YOU should NOT CANCEL.  If he doesn't want it let him do the cancel request.  If he does it after you ship it WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION then just say no the game is in the mail. 

IF...You have been matched with this person before and he keeps doing this then MAKE SURE you take pics with a date stamp of the condition of the game and packaging if you send it.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU DON'T INITIATE THE CANCEL!!!

You said this happened three times, if it was with the same person then I would mail it ou anyway. If not, you should just wait it out. I know you don't HAVE to, but mistakes happen. He could have put it in his request que, never had enough points for it, then went out and bought it without realizing that he had to take it off. I've had this happen, (But not in my active request, it is just annoying when I want to mail out a game I bought and find it in my request and not offers on hold...) so I would suggest waiting it out.

I've been trying to trade this game (Star Wars Battlefront, PS2) for a really long time.  About a month ago, I finally got a trade request for it from this one guy.  Right as I was about to send it, I get a trade cancellation request from him that says, and I quote, "Hey can you cancel this I forgot i bought this already."  WTF!  How f-ing dumb are you?  Well guess what?  This is the THIRD TIME and he just did the same thing again!   I want to get rid of this game but this guy keeps getting in the way.  Can I report him or something?

Can we get a follow up on this story? I want to know...

Dang this happened to me as well just now! I'm relatively new and this is my third trade... sigh. I did do DC though so I guess I'm covered there. I was more worried before seeing this forum post. Why isn't there a step where the trade-e has to confirm that he still wants the game before the trader gets to say he/she will ship?
