e-mail reminders for sending games

I think in all of my goozex trading the hardest part was remembering to send out a game. I have never forgotten once (Thank God) but i have had some close calls. The one thing I don't forget though is to check my e-mail. So a solution to this problem would be on the last day you have to send the item (i.e if commit to send in 3 days it reminds you on the third day) goozex will send you a reminder via e-mail to mail it. Of course there should be an option to turn this off or on so not to annoy the people who don't want it. Thanks for reading this suggestion and post your thoughts about it.

I suppose for some people this would be a good idea.  I have had many trades where people didn't send the game out til way after the commit to ship date. 

Personally, as soon as I hit accept trade, I package up the game/movie and ship it out first chance I get, depending on the time of day it could be later that day or the next day.  If only everyone could ship out that fast.

This actually seems like it could be a good idea. I know sometimes I accept a trade while not at home via my phone and forget to package it up until a day or so later. This would be a nice reminder.

one thing i constantly see the G-Team say in response to more emails about anything in general is that they don't really want to send out more than needed as they don't want the emails to be interpreted as spam by the users

well that is were the option to turn it on and off would come in. They could even make it were it's an option at sign up. Then there is also the option that it will appear on you my goozex page. kinda like the you lack points/trade tokens. Finally i don't think most people would consider it spam if they don't think  the "trades you missed out on" is spam.

I definitely think it could be useful for some folks as long as the option to turn receipt of the emails is enabled.  I'm with ghostworld on this.  i tend to accept my trades, package them and ship them out as soon as i can, Even though i usually say 3 days.

I think this is a good idea. I never forget to ship games, personally (but that's because I put anything I'm supposed to ship somewhere in my room where it's pretty impossible NOT to notice), but I dealt with some unfortunately forgetful (but well-intended) people who would have greatly benefited from this option.

This kind of thing would be a lot more useful than the "Goozex Misses You!" emails that they send if you haven't logged onto the site in a week or so.  At least once I've had someone tell me they forgot to ship after I sent them a polite message asking about the progress of the trade.
