Yeah, there is a translation for Langrisser 2 (or Der Langrisser on the SNES), but I don't think one for Langrisser 3 exists.

Baseball 2020 - GIant robots playing baseball, but only the centerfield section counts for homeruns - you can buy armor b/c IIRC you can hit the batter all you want, since theyre not human - might count as a ball, but there is no taking your base. fun game, especially for 2.

+1 to Streets of rage, especially 2, Golden Axe, Zombies Ate My Neighbors and all the sonic games, Teenage mutant ninja turtles were good games,a lot like Streets of Rage

Warsong.

When I was a kid, I went to my friends place and was looking at his games and picked up warsong and went "Hey, what's this?" My friend said it sucked, I asked if he minded if I tried it. Popped it into the sega, beat the first level. Hrm. Interesting. Made my army, beat the second level. My friend asked how it worked, "Swords beat archers, archers beat horse, horse beats swords" Ah. Played the third level. Time to go home.

My friend beat the game 2 weeks later. AWESOME AWESOME game.

There were a couple translations out for 2 and 3 I think, but they never came to north america that I'm aware of, and I haven't looked for the translations in years.

I love the Langrisser games, so much.  You can find a translated Der Langrisser for emulators.  It's worth a play through, and was one of the first console games to have branching story-arches.

I can't read them, but I've got Langrisser 1 (Warsong) and 2 (Der Langrisser) on my ps3.  If I ever get around to buying more yen for my japanese psn account, I'll invariably download 4 & 5 as well.

This is the one series I want brought to america, more than any other.  It's the only reason I owned a Saturn at all, because they were supposed to release that one (can't remember if that was 3 or 4) stateside.  Of course they didn't, so [:'(]

Mutant League Football! Man I wish EA would remake that! You might also want to try Eternal Champions, Shining Force or Phantasy Star series, any Sonic game that you haven't played, and...uhhh...I know there more games found only on Genesis that are worth playing, I just can't think of them right now. There were very little games that were exclusive to genesis that I had tons of fun with. Most games I played on snes instead.

Shining Force II and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 are, in my opinion, the best games to have graced the Sega Genesis console.

Other greats are Phantasy Star IV, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe are awesome.
