I am actually going to have to agree with agreed here. I was trying to be anonymous and not use names of anyone and get an opinion on the matter without it blowing up like this. Moderator, you are not helping the case by taking a side and trying to make light of a situation that could lead to severely limited someones use of Goozex. This is not a good way to conduct yourself on a forum where there should be a much higher level of professionalism, if only from you. I think I got a good feeling of what should be done though, so thankyou for that I suppose.

No, they were pretty damn cool. cheez is trying to lighten a situation that seems to full of anger and venom from one side. Pity you can not take a joke that was meant to lighten your mood, as you do not seem to realize there are avenues to get this taken care of. Moderators are not Switzerland, we can easily take sides if one user is in danger of taking their anger too far.

Whether you want my advice or not, you both are getting it.:

  1. Leave a negative for unplayable game.
  2. The seller and/or buyer should escalate the situation to Goozex.
  3. If they ask you to send the game (and guitar) in, they will usually reimburse you for that (especially if the game is defective).
  4. Stop arguing with the exact people that are here trying to help you.

As for darkjello - you already have at least one feedback comment regarding a scratched disc. You need to do a much better job of paying attention to what you are sending out. Nobody here wants to get a disc that looks like a saber-toothed tiger chewed on it, so please don't be that guy/gal.

I am serious about this - Is there an appropriate venue to which to complain about the moderator?  I am a customer of this service, and their customer service flat out blows. I've seen it from a distance mostly before, but now I see it close up, and it is ugly.  Obviously I am not asking cheeznrice for this information, and anyone else who feels the need to chime in with snarky comments can kindly stifle themselves.  Pizza I will feel better to lodge the complaint, even if it is useless.  stupid boys clubs. and I am aware it's not a paid position, doesn't matter, moderators should have just a tiny bit more respect for people in general.

I think both of you make a perferct pair.

The only one has shown less then acceptable behaivor here is agreedagreed.  You have contiually made insulting remarks to several users throughout this thread, and calling out cheeznrize is really the pot calling the kettle black. 

Both of you insulting a moderator will get you nowhere, ESPECIALLY when he had already posted on what your respective options were.

Wow, I never really liked agreedagreed, mainly due to his misinformation posts he would post a lot, telling people wrong information about rules etc, but seriously, stop being a douche.  As cheeze said, you were given a viable option by the seller to do, and you refused.  Leave a negative, dispute and send it to goozex.  If you don't like the rules, don't use the site.   And don't get hateful when a mod tells you what to do, and tries to lighten up the situation.

Just to clarify since you're a tad off on your understanding, moderators are not customer service. We're here to answer questions and point people to the proper places to get answers or more information (in addition to keeping member from flaming each other over things that should be handled in private).

You can reach customer service at support@goozex.com if you have a complaint about customer service. Pizza They might take a while to get back to you, though.

You shouldn't post an issue in a public forum if you don't want to hear the public's response; snarky or otherwise.

Leave a negative.  The seller will dispute the negative.  When Goozex asks you to send the package, ask if you can send the game only to save on shipping as the guitar was not the issue.  There.

Your attitude is despicable.  Crap happens, people make mistakes, and issues get resolved.  It's no excuse to blow up like you have.
