There are a lot of people in the US who care about hockey. The farther south you get the less people care though which is why the nashvilles and tampa bays of the NHL should relocate to Canada, especially Hamilton. Man it would be nice to not have to pay out my ass to watch a game in Toronto.

Well the US have won the last two world championships which means yest hey can beat Canada. I would say since the last Olympics the US have been better than Canada. Sweden is not competitive however there is always a chance of a miraculous win which is what happened in 06. Look at the 02 mens hockey when Belarus beat Sweden. Belarus is not a competitive team yet they were able to knock off one of the best teams.

Just so you know I was joking with tainted there. I love my hockey and I enjoy a good arguement but I rarely ever get worked up over anything. In team sports it happens often where the better team loses, it happens a lot in hockey as your goalie can steal the game.
