Demand and price seems to be pretty low for AC2. Why is that? It's got such a high metacritic rating and is very new.
not sure where you are looking but the price is still 1000pts and the demand is still pretty high considering there have already been 464 trades of the xbox 360 version
you sir are an imposter. Madhatter will not appreciate this at all.
lol no wut
That is true. However, I'm looking at the average price. It's trading rate is about $30 and price new is $40 (retail). In addition, over at some other trade sites, it is not as much a "chase" game as I thought it would be.
i platinumed the game in 25 hours. after doing that, i had absolutely NO desire to return to the game.

Goozex points are only based on retail value and internal demand, not on what you would be paying for a game to buy a used copy with cash. The MSRP is still $60 and Goozex does not adjust the value for limited time sales such as the one Amazon is having this week.

Cat in the walllll
If people are waiting in queue to pay 1000 Goozex points for that game then why should goozex care about what price it is being sold outside of goozex. Goozex has it own economy to decide the price of an item it is making sure that neither the buyer or the seller gets ripped off.

+1 to this sentiment. The game could be selling for a nickel in RL, but if there's a line out the door of people willing to pay 1000 points for it, ESPECIALLY if there's little to no supply, then the nickel pricetag is irrelevant.

Are the value of Goozex points getting watered down? I used to think that 100 points was roughly equivalent to $5 US. But just recently I saw Goozex advertising 1,000 point gift cards for $27.50. That's almost cutting it into half.

That's because they had a half-price sale.
AC2 DLC came out today. Go get it :D

Is it priced the same as the first DLC? While I refuse to pay for levels that are released so soon and even referenced IN THE GAME, I did feel that the pricing on the AC2 DLC was very well set.
"The content is available for purchase now for only 320 MSP, or for 560 MSP you can buy the Bonfire of the Vanities & Secret Locations, which is the 13th DNA Sequence plus "three Templar secret locations from the AC2 Collector’s Edition: Palazzo Medici, Santa Maria Dei Frari, and the Arsenal Shipyard."
