The FYE in georgetown (DC) is closing, I was there on Sunday, everything was like 60-80% off. There was still decent stuff left, I cleaned up, but trust me, many games available-methinks because of the snow, hahaha.
Tons of DVDs and CDs, too.
damn, I couldn't go anywhere outside of my neighborhood, aside from the snowball fight in DuPont...

Interesting. I am close too (Bethesda). Might have to pass by in the next couple of days. Is this at the "Mt Vernon Sq 7th St-Convention Center" Station? I've probably never been to Georgetown Park (internet search says that's were it is). Do you know when it officially gonna be closed?
Sorry if I asked to many questions.

haha, you're not from here, are you? G'town is NOWHERE near convention center. it's about as upper NW as you can get, and not on the metro. Take the bus from friendship heights if you don't drive, or if you have a car, drive straight down Wisconsin Ave, or take canal road to M street.
the reason I laugh is that when the metro was originally built, G'town thought it was "too good" for the metro, and that would bring in riff-raff, therefore, no stop there.
seriously lame.
No, not originally from here. Been here 3 years, but don't really care much outside my area, use Google for most of my topographic and map information. Now I am even more lost, might be fate since I shouldn't even go buying stuff anyhow, huge game backlog already.
GUTS bus, standard Gtown bus, bike, drive, or cab from Dupont metro.
