Ive waited 10 days and contacted them 4 times and Ive got no where!
I tried out Gamefly. Got my free Goozex gift card. Here's my experience.
Rented 2 games: Boom Blox Party (Wii) and Need for Speed Nitro (Wii). The former was sent immediately being of high availability, while the latter was sent 3 days later being of low availability - not bad actually.
The discs were scratched up like a hell-hound with very fine claws had its way with it, but both discs loaded up and played fine. However, I will not even consider keeping these discs using Gamefly's "keep" feature.
I mailed the discs back today. The paper mailer was quite easy to use and includes a thick cardboard to protect the discs. I notice that each game disc was matched to a specific mailer via a unique "catalog" number. I'm not sure if switching the disc and mailer will be problematic to a regular user.
I actually liked the service. However, I decided to cancel my membership because it will not be cost effective for me, a very casual gamer who usually takes about 4 to 6 months to beat a game. $20 a month is definitely steep for me. But even if were $10 a month I still don't think I will save money from the service.
A note on trying to cancel the membership: be aware that you will be presented with many pages that will try to convince you NOT to cancel. You will need to keep hitting the cancel button in the bottom of these pages until you reach a page where you need to tick a check mark stating that you agree to the cancellation terms and hit the final cancel button.

By the way, Boom Blox Party was awesome and Need for Speed Nitro kinda sucked.

Yes.
The mailing envelope is pre-paid by Gamefly for both ways. So it seems like the only cost to you is the monthly fee.
I too signed up several days ago and haven't received any email with my gift code. Shady shady.
Hello, A quick update to answer some concerns expressed in previous posts: if you have signed up on GameFly using the Goozex promotion and have not received the Gift Card bonus yet, this info may help you. First of all, the Goozex Gift Cards for the GameFly promotion are sent to the email address on file with your GameFly account. Emails are automatically sent every 24-48 hours. If you have not received the email, the first place you should start checking is your email inbox and junk filter. Please check your email account and the junk filter for an email from Goozex.com.
Also, your GameFly email must be a valid email address for you to be able to receive the Gift Card in email, and you may want to counter-check it with GameFly. In case you cannot locate the Gift Card email, you can contact the Goozex customer service and provide us the following information: 1) Your email address on file with GameFly (the one used to signed up on Gamefly.com) 2) Your email address on file with Goozex 3) Your Goozex username If your account is confirmed by GameFly, we will resend the Gift Card code to your email address. Also, as a friendly reminder, the Gift Card must be redeemed before you can see the bonus credited to your Goozex account. Without redeeming the Gift Card code (sent to the email on file with your GameFly account), you will not have access to the bonus points on your Goozex account. Another win for Gamefly, today they shipped the bottom 2 games on my 13 game Q. Most of which are of a medium/high availability. Thanks again Gamefly, enjoy my cancellation tomorrow.
alright, well i checked both goozex and gamefly and both emails were correct and had been correct. I emailed them a third time with the new information too so we'll see how this turns out...
