I was PM'd by the buyer that even though USPS says the item was delivered, he has not received it. I double checked the address to be sure on my label and it was correct. What should I do in this situation?
That has happened to me before and it showed up the next day. How long ago did it say delivered???
Says delivered february 6, four days ago
HMMM that is interesting. I think maybe the buyer should try to contact his local post office and see if he can find something out. If it is not found the buyer will need to report a negative and then you will dispute it and provide Goozex with the DC number. It sounds like you did everything right so you should be safe.
It's unfortunate for the buyer if the item never got there, but as long as you give your D.C. to Goozex, you'll be safe from a dispute perspective. You've done everything you can do, so you deserve your points.

Have him check with the PO that says it was delivered, and have him print out that Delivery Confirmation page and take it with him so that they can look it up. If the mail carrier on his route is a regular, they may have given it to someone else or be able to recall anything else unusual about it.
But yes, as long as the DC says it's been delivered, you've fulfilled your side of the bargain as far as Goozex is concerned. They may even be able to arrange to get him a copy of it as a replacement if something got screwed up at the PO.
well thanks, looks like this might turn out to be a negative->dispute->both refund deal. thanks for the responses
What is the latest feedback from the buyer? Do they have a history of reporting trades not being delivered? I'm not trying to assume that they are a scammer, but you should probably check that out just in case.
I got a game 1 month after it said delivered 1 time. Now I get my games delivered to my office where my Mailmen probably doesn't smoke crack.

The USPS reports lots of things that don't happen. I tracked a package today and it said that at 11am they "attempted delivery" and "left a notice". There's a blizzard outside right now and no one "attempted" anything nor left any kind of notice. I assume they'll actually try tomorrow, if they make me come get it they're gonna have one heck of an irate customer.
What system is the game for?
Another idea would be that they left it in an odd ball place. For example, I've had our mail lady leave packages in my car. Yes, figure that one out. Also, she's fond of leaving them inside our house when we're not home. Just inside the door. I don't really feel either way about that one but I think she's getting a little too comfortable with that...
